The next morning you got ready to go to the police station with Taehyung as it's your leave.

You came to the living room and saw Taehyung sitting on the couch ,it's seems like he was thinking about something maybe his annunciator.

"Good morning",you greeted him but it seems like he didn't heard you.

"Hey, do you like pancakes...I'll make some for you," you said and waited for him to respond.

He just gave you a slight nod and said,"I don't know what are you talking about but it sounds good".

"Seriously why is he so strange,"you thought .

"Here you go,"you said placing the pancakes in front of Taehyung.

You sat beside Taehyung with your breakfast and saw him munching on his food happily, He looks hungry .
And in no time he finished his breakfast.

"Can I get some more ,this thing is really good ,"while pushing the plate towards you.

"Really you like it ,you are the first person to appreciate my cooking,"you said while giving him more pancakes.

"Honestly who ever thinks that you don't cook good are idiots,"he said mouthful of his pancakes.

Listening him appreciating your cooking you felt happy and satisfied no have ever appreciated you for any thing...not even Jimin .

"Slowly...or else you'll choke ",you said   while smiling at Taehyung.

After finishing your breakfast ,you and Taehyung went to the police station .

When the both of you reached the police station, Taehyung didn't even waited for you as he rushed to the police station ,he seems excited.

So you followed him.

"Officer y/n told me that you have my annunciator,C'mon give it back to me,"said Taehyung pulling his hand towards the the police officer waiting for him to handover his belonging.

While seeing Taehyung talking to the police ,you quickly went toward him.
"Taehyung what are you doing,"you said pulling Taehyung hand down to his side and said a sorry to the police.

"Y/n what are you doing ,you said they have my annunciator,"said Taehyung .

"Yes,yes they will help you find your annunciator, just sit down and answer his questions...ok ,"you tried to make Taehyung understand and indicated him to take a seat in front of the officer.

"Good morning sir, we want to complain about a theft,"you said to the police officer.
"Theft,what theft,"he said while leaning closer to hear you better.

"Umm, actually he will explain you better,"you said indicating Taehyung to speak.

"Y/n told me that have my annunciator, so give it back to me,I need it so that I can go back home,"said Taehyung clearly he was losing his patience .

The police officer just stared at him for a few seconds before starting to speak again,"I don't have your annunciator,but I can help you find it ,just tell me how it looks like".

Taehyung stood up abruptly  "what do you mean you don't have it,"he said helpless eyes looking towards you,"y/n said you have my annunciator".

You stood up from your seat and went towards Taehyung"I didn't mean that they have it but they can help you find it", you tried to make him understand .

"You are a liar,"he said coldly staring deeply in you eyes ,you don't no why but you felt bad, hurt by his word you never wanted to lie to him and now you felt miserable .

"You are all liars ,"he said and left the police station,you couldn't help but follow him,by seeing his reaction, you understood that this ' annunciator ' thing meant a lot to him.

You saw him walking down the street, he looked lost as if he don't know where to go next.

"Taehyung, wait,"you hurried towards him however he increased his pace clearly trying to avoid you.

"Tae wait,"you started running to catch up with him and you were quick enough to block his way.

"I told you to wait,"you said catching your breath .

"Let me go,"Taehyung said .
"No,"you said sternly .
"Taehyung listen to me,"you said while searching for his eyes ,he then looked at you, taking that as a yes you continued,"look the police can help you find your annunciator ,you just need to tell them everything about your annunciator."

"How can you be so sure about them finding my annunciator,"he questioned you

"Because that their work ,and if they are unable to find it I'll help you...I'll do my best to find it ...just trust me."

"Really,"he said eyes brimming with hope.

"Yes I promise you that,"you said and you both started walking towards the police station.

"Y/n can I ask you something," he said turning his head towards your direction.

"Hummm"
"What's a promise,"he asked.

You just stared at him in disbelief
Seriously Taehyung , he was still looking at you waiting for the answer .

"It means that no matter what happens I'll do what I said I'll find your annunciator no matter what....and a promise should never be broken".

"Y/n you are really good,"Taehyung said looking deeply in your eyes and your heart skipped a beat.

You kept on walking but you couldn't help but to get a glimpse of Taehyung perfect face, he was just walking with you and you felt that no matter what happens you wanted to help him to get back his thing without which he can't return to his home.

"Taehyung,"you said looking towards him.

He just hummed in response .

"If you want you can stay at my place until you find your thing," after listening to you he stopped in his trace and looked towards you .

"No- only i..if you want to ,"you said suddenly feeling nervous."Really, I can stay with you,"he said while perking up.

You couldn't help but smile at his cute reaction. You both again started to walk but only one thing was in your mind.

No matter what happen we will definitely find your annunciator it's a promise.
