Chapter 3 : Knoah

"You underestimated us." Who would've thought that we belong on the same association? The man held both of my wrist and let me sat on a chair that made me face three people except Knoah who's behind me like a guard.

Are they the Elites?! Looks like I got myself into trouble right now.

They are staring at me like I'm a visible one right now. There should be 3 mins left before the visibility time.

"Eh, Knoah? You should've let her get a piece of paper, atleast. You ruined the fun." Knoah's the name who killed Henry? I looked at the person who said that. He has a similar hair style with Amber.

But the room temperature suddenly lowered and his hair became ice. "Stop copying Amber's hair, it doesn't suit you, Raver," someone said.

I again shifted my gaze and saw a man with a white hair, probably the reason of the cold temperature inside. He looked at me and I averted my eyes to the other direction.

I saw another man with a red eyes looking at my eyes intently. I noticed the invisibility potion suddenly wore off. I've heard that kind of eyes before, it can nullify any kind of magic as long as you stare directly into your prey's eyes.

"Didn't I warn you to not use Zoe's invention infront of me?" Knoah lectured me while I noticed a change in his hair. The other parts are turning yellow.

Someone suddenly barged into the room, it was the woman with a blue hair.

"Did you see Aman—" she suddenly stopped when she saw me. Her jaw dropped when she realized I did something.

She came rushing towards me and just a blink, we were out of the room. "Did you broke a rule!?" Tumango ako sa kaniya at napaisip.

I remembered the mission I saw earlier. The information about the last survivor being leaked. Ganun na ba talaga sila kadesperado sa amin?

"You should've broke the rules when Knoah's not around. Nakakatakot kaya siya magbigay ng parusa," babala nito sa akin. "By the way, I'm Aqua Luiscette."

I was about to open my mouth when Aqua's body suddenly froze. Napatingin ako sa may pinto. I saw the man with the white hair.

"She must face the consequences of breaking the rule. Knoah, ikaw na bahala sa kaniya."

Akala ko ilalagay nila ako sa kulungan instead, they put me in a library. I'm facing Knoah who's now reading a book. I tried to talk but he warned me not to.

We just sat there quietly. Until I've heard him talk, "Choose, a or b?"

"The question?" I asked. Ofcourse, how can I choose without it?

"Just choose." I sighed and chose the letter b not knowing the meaning of it.

He showed me the book. He pointed a sentence.

"First choice given is for death and second is for fear." Is he saying that if I came to chose the letter A which indicates the first choice given, I would die in an instant?

I chose B. Fear? I have too many fears, I don't know what he will do to me.

"I should give you fear as your punishment. You broke the rules when you're just a newbie. But that doesn't change the fact that you're still one, so you chose, I'll use my magic, or I'll deduce your fears using my mind?"

Magic? The electric one? How can he use it on knowing my fears?

"I just want to remind you that my magic can be deadly. It does not leave a short glimpse on your fears but my deductions are solid but not that complete."

I stared at the ceiling for about a minute to think my decisions thoroughly. Pero diko talaga maisip kung paano niya magagamit ang kapangyarihan niya sa akin.

Until I noticed the title of the book he's reading, Eye Magics. If were talking about the fear being connected with the book, I can only think of one thing,

"You have the Feren Eye who let the one who stares at your eyes deeply will be placed in an illusion which shows all their fears. That's going to be troublesome. I chose your own deductions." Finally I was able to decide. Pero sana nga lang, tama ang desisyon ko.

"Looks like I'm about to tell you that you value 10 million..." I froze on my seat and started to grip the chair's arm hard.

"You're the last Gardner alive."
