The alarm clock does its usual announcement of the news, but I don't need it this morning. Andre and I were sitting at the table enjoying breakfast that we made together. I sit with my coffee in my hand looking at his mesmerizing chest. His onyx skin almost shines, further highlighting his amazing body. I watch his mouth move as he eats. A lick of heat in my core stirs in remembrance of how he woke up me this morning. Andre had always been good with his words, but I only just found how good he was with his mouth.

Who ever said that sex with your best friend is weird obviously didn't have Andre in mind. From last night to the continued session this morning, he was perfect. He tended to every need without being told; he watched my body and reacted to it. He was attentive and commanding. He was better than I dreamed.

After taking care of my body's external needs, he sought to take care of the internal ones. Getting me out of bed and helping him make breakfast for us. Could he get more perfect? The only 'help' he needed was to make coffee and keep him company. How sweet of him.

"I'll go turn that off." I set my cup down and start to move.

"Leave it, I'm listening to it."

"Of course you are." I lean back in the chair and pick my cup back up.

"Do you not listen to the news?"

"Of course I do... I just usually only catch the first ten seconds or so," I say behind a chuckle.

"Bunny, you really should pay attention to the news in one way or another."

"Yeah, yeah, social media is just as good."

"Hardly." he smirks.

"Why not?"

"It's too opinion based and most people skew the news to fit their needs."

"So the networks that have been proven to be paid off by certain people reporting the news is better how?" He stares for a second.

"You know what. Good point."

"Thank you." I smile.

He takes the last bite of his food and starts to grab plates. I reach forward and smack his hand. He looks at me a second and no doubt can see my frown.

"Don't you think you've done enough? I'll take care of that."

"It's just putting them in the dishwasher."

"And before that it was 'just making breakfast'"

"And before that it was 'just waking you up'" he says with a mischievous grin.

"Yeah, you've done enough." I laugh.

Taking the last sip of my coffee I grab our dishes and start the work of pre-washing and placing into the dishwasher. While doing the chores I see Andre head back to my bedroom.

Now that the distraction is gone, I can get Mikey some food and water and maybe take him out today. I'm not sure if I want to go to the park or not, Mandy is sure to be there and will no doubt ask questions. Andre has proved I'm a terrible liar. Best lie low today.

Mikey hears his food and rushes to the kitchen. After a few happy barks, he nudges to his leash.

"Not today sweetie." I give him a cheerful grin. He barks again, then whines. "Mikey, Mommy doesn't have it in her to go to the park right now. When I get home okay?" More resistance.

"Mikey, what did your mother say?" Andre walks back into the kitchen with his shirt still unbuttoned, but otherwise fully clothed. Mikey holds his head down and scampers off into the front room.
