Have you ever been to a psychiatrist before? Well if you haven't that's good for you, but if you have there's a chance they might have told you "It's okay to not have all the answers" OR they might have said "You're young you're still figuring things out." I personally haven't been to a psychiatrist, those two sayings you read back there are lines from probably all the good Movies and TV shows ever made.
Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Diamond Baxter I am 15 years old and I have a younger sister whose name is Grace, Grace is 6 years old. Now before I continue I need to tell you something that's very important.
My Dad and my Mum met in University it was one of those kinds of relationships that my Dad's family never wanted Him to marry My Mum, although Mum and Dad taught me "The only thing stronger than Hate is Love" whatever that meant to them, as you might have perceived,2 years ago he died in a car accident whilst hearing the news nothing really made sense to me then, Grace was too young to understand anything that was said and My Dad's family blamed my Mum they called it her "bad luck" you'd think that after 13 Years of their marriage they'd be over it but no that's just who they were, After he died Mum's world seemed to crumble and the only thing she could turn to was Drinking, I couldn't understand why but yeah that's what happened. Dad's family said Mum living in the same city with them was a "constant reminder" of their loss, so they being rich paid her off to take me and my sister to a new city as far away from them as possible, I never really liked them anyway you could always feel their stank eyes at family gatherings.
Unlike other teenagers who'd rebel when they lost any of their parents, I was the complete opposite of that except when it came to my Mum cause I was so angry at her for letting herself go like that.
So, now that you're all caught up let's bring ourselves back to the present day 21st century.
Ohhhhhh and one tiny little detail I need not forget, we're Black. :)
