"I'm so tired. Mentally and physically, I don't know if I can do this." I say, with a sigh.
I'm supposed to be taking this really pretty girl out tonight. Her names Sophia, and she's 16. She doesn't know that people at my school hate me. I'm a junior though, and I don't know why people are still so cruel.
You see here, my one friend decided to make me take his cousin out. He said I was lonely and sad. I'm not sad, just calm. People act like its easy to put your broken pieces back together.
So here I am, standing in front of the mirror. What if she sees me and says oh he's a freak? I wouldn't be so surprised.
I walk down the stairs and I see James standing there. He's my friend, who's cousin I'm taking out. He trusts me, but I don't know if I should trust him. What if he's just tricking me? If he turned his back to me?
"Dude, don't be nervous, she's my cousin for gods sake."
"Okay.." I take a deep breath and look up at him. I would say something funny, but I'm always scared of making a mistake. "Thanks man," I say, smiling softly, as he hands me directions.
"Now don't hurt her, I know your pretty tough." He says, jokingly. I nod, forcing a small laugh. I walk down to my car, and I slip into the drivers seat.
I start the car and begin to drive. As I just start making it down the road, worry fills my head. I don't want to make a bad impression, although I don't think I really even want the temptation of wanting a girlfriend.
After fifteen minutes or so, I make it to the town she lives in. And in another five minutes, to her street. Soon enough, I find her house.
I pull into her driveway, and park. I begin to breath faster. "I shouldn't worry" I quietly say to myself.
But everyone worries don't they? Not like me though. I understand true pain, and sadness.
As I walk up the stairs leading to her doorway, I'm scared that my face looks red. Or that I don't look that casual. I just want her to like me. I want people to like me.
I ring the doorbell, and I take one last deep breath.
Oh shit was I supposed to get a gift?!
But it's too late, the door opens and a young girl with dirty blonde hair and green eyes answers. I hear a "hello" escape her voice.
She looked like she was 10. I knew this was all a joke!
"Uhm hi are you Sophia?"
I hear a loud laugh, but not only hers. An older looking girl appears behind her.
"I'm Sophia, that's my younger sister Victoria." the older figure giggles.
"Oh.." I run my fingers through my hair quickly. "Hi" I say, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Sophia demands Victoria to leave, and She walks outside to where I am.
"My parents aren't home now, and I don't know if you still wanted to go out, or we could go to my room?" She says, looking up at me.
"Oh, well.. I was just going to ask you what you exactly wanted to do, so I mean you know whatever. It seems like you want to stay here so I guess we can. If that's what you want you know--" I blab out
She laughs. "Come on, let's go inside."
I follow her inside, looking around. Her sister Victoria was on the couch watching nickelodeon.
I was busy looking at everything that Sophia had to pull my arm to get my out of my trance.
"Oh sorry, let's go upstairs." I say, smiling nervously.
We walked upstairs and then I walked to her room. She led me to her bed and we both sat down. She immediately turned to me and wrapped her arms around my neck.
She began to kiss around my jawline, then she began to kiss my neck softly.
"What are you doing?" I ask. Fuck, I probably messed up my only chance to be liked.
She chuckled softly. "What do you think we came to my room to do, silly?" She cups my face and kisses my lips.
And then, I kiss back.
