2004. 5 years after the events of Kira in Morioh. Rohan Kishibe has ended Pink Dark Boy, and was knee deep in a new manga to replace his old one. And his inspiration source? Mikitaka Hazekura. The alien boy. They were both relaxing on the second floor studio of Rohan's house, Mikitaka rambling about how life on his planet was like.
Rohan was listening intently, jotting down ideas quickly on a scrap sheet of paper. The artist was working on chapter four of his new manga, and it would be an important chapter to the series.
"Rohan-sensei, may you tell me a few things about Earth?" Mikitaka was upside-down, half way on the floor and half way on the leather couch in the studio. Rohan sighed.
"Maybe later." Rohan muttered, hunched over his desk, secretly stealing glances at the mysterious alien. Though Rohan seemed to hate everyone, he only put up an act of hatred towards Mikitaka. But, he didn't know how to handle these newly discovered feelings to the alien, so he disguised it with hate and or annoyance.
"Okay, but you must tell me sometime," Mikitaka adjusted his form so he was now fully on the couch. He then scooted to the end nearest to Rohan to peek at what he was doing. "And, may I use your music player? It is getting a bit boring."
"Sure, just don't break it." Rohan leaned back and dug through a crowded drawer in his desk. He found the small yellow mp3 and handed it to Mikitaka, who instantly grabbed it. After a few minutes, a song was finally chosen.
"What song is this?"
"September by Earth, Wind & Fire. It is one of my preferred songs." Mikitaka put the mp3 on the handle of the couch and quietly sung along to the music. Rohan sighed, but he had to admit, Mikitaka's taste in music wasn't that bad. Soon, Rohan heard footsteps on the hardwood floor. He turned from his work to find Mikitaka dancing to the music with a smile on his face.
But, Rohan enjoyed the alien's goofiness enough to where he didn't even catch himself smiling.
