Someone you loved

You and Seo-Joon were once in love, you two were childhood sweethearts and dated throughout middle and high school but once you entered college things started falling apart, nothing toxic but you both were growing in different directions and decided to split up amicably. You graduated college and found a job in your respected field, you also met your current boyfriend, Jaehyun. You and Jaehyun were having an nice afternoon together with lunch, going to the mall and eventually stopping to get ice cream before heading home, while you were waiting for your order to be ready you heard a familiar voice call out your name.

"Y/n"

"Seo-Joon?"

"Hey, how you been?"

"Good, what about you?"

"Good, been busy with acting"

"I saw that, good for you"

"Are you here with anyone?"

"Yeah my boyfriend"

"Boyfriend?"

"Yeah, his name is Jaehyun."

Right at that moment, Jaehyun walks over with your milkshake and he sorta tenses up at the sight of Seo-Joon.

"Who's this honey?". Jaehyun asks you.

"Oh this is Seo-Joon, an old friend"

"Nice to meet you Seo-Joon"

"Nice to meet you too man, well I'm gonna let you two enjoy your date, see you around y/n"

"See you around Seo-Joon."

Seo-Joon walks away from you and Jaehyun, as he reaches the entrance, he stops and looks back at you and Jaehyun happily talking and enjoying your ice cream. He's heartbroken to see you happy with someone else but he couldn't help but smile knowing you have found true happiness.
