The Drama Club - A Oneus Fanfiction

Act 14

"Thank you for your cooperation and congratulations, you may enjoy the rest of the day with ease" the teacher said as he brought their papers.

As soon as the teacher walked out, the class that have been silence for almost 2 weeks started to become loud. Eri looked around and watched as everybody getting energized after weeks of draining the brain.

She felt a sudden rush of happiness. It was nice seeing everybody started to play around. She looked at Jun and she was on her phone, updating her status as "freedom".

Jun noticed Eri and put her phone at the side. She immediately went to hug Eri and squealed "It's finally over!".

Eri nodded and exclaimed "I know!"

Jun released the hug "I don't want to hear any word about exam cause I want to enjoy freedom" she fakely wiped her non-existent sweat from her forehead.

"Yea, me too" Eri nodded and continued "But question-"

"Eri!" Jun quickly covered her ears.

"I know, just kidding!" Eri laughed.

Eri grabbed her phone inside her bag and turned it on. She saw couple of messages from the drama club groupchat. It was about the drama competition and the meeting will be held tomorrow.

Eri sighed, she completely forgot about the drama club as she was busy studying for the exam. But she was glad the drama club knew which one to prioritize.

The meeting has started and they were expecting for Mrs. Rin to come so she could at least help them with it but she didn't. Xion was annoyed at the teacher's behaviour.

Mrs. Rin was rarely there for the club, only the early days of the club she was. Most of time when she wasn't there, Xion will take the place. Even though he have reached multiple times for Mrs. Rin to come, she still won't come. The reason? Busy.

At this point, the word busy from her mouth only made Xion's blood boil. He caught Mrs. Rin couple of times of her being busy but he always saw her at the teacher's lounge, relaxing.

"Since she's not here again. Today, let's discuss on the drama we will be making. I also received an announcement about the competition" Xion sighed.

The competition changed. Instead of making a 5 episode drama, they have to make a 1 hour long movie. The club were pretty happy that they don't have to make 5 episodes.

"Since when did they changed it?" Keonhee raised his hand.

"They changed it during our 2 weeks of exam. I didn't tell you as we were busy with the exams. Also, they changed the deadline. Now we have 3 month left before submitting" Xion stated. The club nodded, understanding the change.

"Anyway, Mia have planned the theme and the plot for our drama" Xion looked at Mia.

Mia as their director nodded, stood up and started to tell the drama they will make.

A story about a highschool girl that dreams about the future accidents. Nobody knows her ability except her family.  One day, she fainted as she got hit in the head by a ball when she was walking beside the school field.

During her rest in the pharmacy, she dreamt about her crush getting into an accident during his drama rehearsal on the next day.

Simply telling him about the accident won't do anything as he doesn't believe it. She will do anything to save him but along the way, there's obstacles. In the end, she managed to save him.

The club all liked her idea, they were also amazed at her as she can come up with the idea during examination week. She got the idea by having a shower and before sleeping. Xion already knew about her idea as he was the first one Mia asked.

"We will prepare for the movie for 1 month. That means, we have 2 months to shoot the film. I hope you all give cooperation needed" Xion said with a smile.

"Alright" the club answered in unison.

During the 1 month of preparation, Eri and Renjun walked around the school ground, discussing about the movie. As the art director, they were charged with the film settings and props.

"So, our female protagonist is a sport club member.. Yoora is a sport club member and she's heading back from the field. And she got hit by a ball!" Renjun laughed, Eri joined along.

"But I feel bad for Jaemin becoming her crush though" Eri sighed while Renjun laughed more after hearing that statement.

After laughing, Renjun took a deep breath and exhaled. He wiped away his tears and fanned himself "me too, Eri.. Me too" The smile was still on his face.

"Thank god most of the places in the film are in school and Yoora's home" Eri said while Renjun nodded.

But that wasn't the only thing they need to do, they need to finish some props for the film. One of them is pasting stickynotes on the whole side of the wall in Yoora's bedroom. Stickynotes about her dreams, showing the audience she have been dreaming about accidents since she was small.

Eri and Renjun felt their hands about to come off after writing half of the sticknotes but they have more. They were thinking to continue after their walk. They went to the hall and was about to enter through the entrance until they saw Mrs. Rin and Xion.

They both quickly hid behind a wall and accidentally eavesdrop their conversation.

"And what makes you I was wrong?" Mrs. Rin started.

"You never attended the club more than 5 times and suddenly you're here ordering us around not knowing what we're doing" Xion answered, coldly.

"Not knowing? I always know everything!" She spat meanwhile Xion looked into her eyes, emotionless.

"Im sorry but during the whole discussion and preparation process, you were never there. What makes you know what we're doing?" Xion replied.

"That's why you need to report them to me!"

"If you checked on your desk, there are reports for every week about the club that I sent but you never even touched it"

Xion was only stating the truth
He went to her table almost everyday just to see his or the secretary of the club reports were seen or not.

"I was busy, Xion" she pinched her nosebridge. Xion twitched at the word.

"Then, why did you even pick the drama club.. Even you know it isn't compulsory for teachers to pick a club" he whispered and turned his gaze somewhere other than her eyes.

Their previous drama teacher was the best. She was very supportive and will do anything to help the club. Because Xion was so used to the previous one, he couldn't help and think that all teachers in the drama club are supportive. Mrs. Rin shattered the picture for him.

That was it, Mrs. Rin couldn't tolerate with his behaviour. "You brat!" she smacked him across the face.

"There are reasons I picked this petty club, I- forget it. Go back and do your useless film!" she huffed and walked away.

Xion nodded, looking down and soon entered the hall.

Eri and Renjun were shocked and looked at each other. Renjun whispered "What the.."
