1. The princess

"Hey." Mirai kicking the man softly. She looks Johnny in the eyes. "Brother, I think he's dead."

Johnny thinks deeply. They are in the middle of the Tracius Forest, it's not like they can ignore the dying man either. Maybe Mirai can close her eyes, act like she sees nothing. "You are no fun." Mirai pouted. That's just how Johnny is. A very loving man. She's wondering, why her brother and her potrayed such a contradictory of image? An angel and a devil. The breezy wind makes the night even more chillier. Mirai looks up to the sky. By referring to the stars, she figured out it was around 3-5 am. She woke up earlier. She looks at her brother sleeping loudly, disgusted by the idiot face that her brother makes. She looks again at the man, still did not regain conscious. "Tsk, if he still did not wake up, I supposed I would throw him to the cliff. There's no way we are going to bring a dead man together in adventure." Mirai thought.

She walked to the cliff nearer their camp site. Laying down and enjoying the open view of night. The stars are uncountable, yet Mirai insist to count one by one. She stretched out her hand, "Father, mother. We are going to find you no matter what." She grips her hand tightly.

"Mom, I am not a good person. But brother is, I'm sure he will guide me to the right path."

Mirai felt downhearted.

"But, what if I lose my guide during this dangerous adventure?"

Mirai shakes her head. There's no way she is going to lost her brother. She promised to protect her brother no matter what happens. In the past, she could not protect her parents. She continuously carry the blame, as she believes she is weak. She trained herself so hard, so that she could protect the persons she loves. "I should do 200 push ups the next morning," . She looks back at the stars, after drowned deep in her thoughts.

It was then a hand covered her mouth. Mirai was shocked, she tried to release herself but the strong figure hold her down. Mirai bites his hand and struck him with her elbow. The unknown figure fell down, holding tight his chest in pain.

"Hah! That's what you get for attacking a pretty woman!" She points her middle finger while stepping on the man. She looks closely to his face.

"Eh, aren't you that dead man? Wait, why are you crying- Oh god, I'm sorry." Mirai held out her hand to lift up the man. "Sit here. Stay like a dog okay? I will treat you.". Mirai walks further to get the first aid. Thank god her brother is still sleeping loudly.

"That should be fine." Mirai put the cream back in the first aid box. The man stay silent. A tense atmosphere is building up, she felt awkward. So awkward to the point she felt like she could jump off the cliff.

"I'm sorry, but you attacked me first. " Mirai finally speak something.

"Hey, speak something. We saved you, so you need to pay the price right? Originally you debt us 500 golds, but if you speak I decrease your debt to 499 golds."

The man take the small branch stick. He wrote something on the ground.

"Bastard." Mirai shows her middle finger again. She sighed, "okay everytime you answer my questions, I will lessen the debt". It looks like the man won't open his mouth no matter what happens.

Mirai stay silent for awhile. The suspicious inside her grow bigger. She goes to the tent and take out the rope. She tie his hands, holding him to stand up and goes the end of the cliff.
