The Luna

Chapter 1- The Alpha

(A/N: Chapter one is taking place in the past. Didn't want to confuse anyone! Enjoy!)

I've been running for over three hours now. Leaving my old pack is one of the hardest things to do. Even worst when you grew up there, but my old pack's Alpha wasn't the best. Sure its not his fault, but I couldn't stay there. About eight years ago our pack was attacked by another pack. Our Luna was killed in the process. She died saving some of the children. I was with those kids. We we're all inside the pack house when the door was kicked open. We heard the other wolves and when we smelled that they weren't from our pack, we ran for it. We ran into the forest thinking it would be a great place to hide. Sadly we we're far from right. The wolves backed us up against a tree. I was the oldest and all the kids looked up to me, but I was afraid and didn't know what to do. I started screaming when one growled at me. Soon all of the kids did the same thing. We thought for sure we we're going to die. Then our Luna came in knocking them away from us. She attacked with all her strength, but she was out numbered. She told us all to run and get far away from there. As I got the kids to run I looked back and saw her get pinned down. They took turns biting at her neck. She looked at me and I saw the fear in her eyes. I knew she was tired, and I knew she was giving up. I saw the light fade from her eyes as I ran off from the other kids. I will never forget the look in her eyes. She died with courage and strength. I will never forget her.

As I'm running I start picking up on other smells. Other wolves. At first I think its just rouges and that i'll have to fight them off, but then I realize that i've crossed into another territory. I quickly start running for the boarder, but not before I'm knocked into a near by tree. They start biting at me yelling at me to shift into human form. At first I refuse, but then I shift and curl up trying to sheild myself from my attackers. The shift back into their human forms and look down at me.

"What do we have here?" One of them says.

"She's a pretty one." The other says.

"I don't know if i'll be able to take her back without helping myself to her first."

I shiver at the thought of him even coming close to me. Anger spins inside me and my wolf fights to be let out. I refuse her though.

"Come on. Lets just get her back to the cells. The Alpha will deal with her later."

I feel them pick me up and carry me through the forest away from the boarder. Its going to be very difficult to get out of here.

When we finally get to the cells I'm put on a very cold bench. They hand me some clothes and then leave closing and locking the cell door behind them. I look down at the clothes they handed me and realize its not clothes. Its just a sports bra and some underwear. The cell door opens and a man about 6 feet tall comes in. His mucles shinning under the light.

"Why did you come?" He asks.

I roll my eyes and spit on the floor in front of him. I have no intition of talking to anyone. He growls lightly and steps towards me,

"You don't want to do that." He whispers.

I roll my eyes and finish slipping the clothes they gave me on. He growls again because I ignored everything he's just said.

"Why are you in our territory!?" He almost yells.

I smirk,

"I was leaving until you idiots took me all the way in."

With that he pouches me in the jaw. I spit blood on the floor laughing. What man hits a woman? He growls and punches me in the stomach. I grown and spit out more blood. He smiles down at me looking pleased with himself,
