| Anique 'Nique' Robinson |
I plopped down on my couch and lit up a blunt. I bobbed my head to the beat of Que's Type of Party. I blew out an 'O' as I thought about life. I thought about how me and my sisters grew up, how I'm living, how my sisters are living, and most importantly, the future. I was interrupted from my thoughts when my alarm went off, signaling that I have a meeting at the trap in a hour and a half. "Shit!" I yelled frustrated. I put out the blunt and ran upstairs of my two-floor penthouse. Yeah ya' girl doing it big. I threw on my black bandana joggers and tight fitted black crop top with my white air forces. I took off my bonnet letting my 22' inch wavy Malaysian Weave fall to my back. I looked at myself in my full body mirror and said, "Goddamn." I started twerking, popping, locking, and I bust out laughing. I grabbed my black Michael Kors tote bag and threw my phone, charger, wallet, and a pack of gum inside. I put my purse on, grabbed my keys, and I headed out. I unlocked the doors to my silver Ferrari with suicide doors. Told Ya' I'm doing it big, really big. I got my phone out my bag, turned on Bluetooth, and pressed play. Fetty Wap's Trap Queen started blasting through my speakers.
I'm like hey wassup hello,

I'm just in the kitchen cooking pies with my babyBy now I'm at our trap house on the Westside of Harlem. Oh I didn't tell ya'll? When I was about 14 and understood the world more, I finally realized how bad my mama had it. We could barely afford food. I couldn't stand it no more, I had to help. So I decided to get into the game.
*Flashback*
I stood shivering in the cold with my old, ripped jacket and busted up chuck's. I checked the time on my cheap minute phone, it read 12:01am.
Where this nigga at? I was told be here by 11, so I came at 10:45 just in case. I been here for an hour an 15 fucking minutes and this bitch still ain't in sight. Just as I was about to lose hope and walk back home, an all black truck pulled up next to me. One of the tinted windows went down just a bit and a man with black sunglasses and really deep voice spoke."You Anique Robinson?" He asked.
His deep voice made my spine tingle. I was lost for words so I just nodded.
"Get in." He said. I heard the doors unlock. I got in and closed the door behind me. I coughed lightly and fanned the smoke in front of me.
"I'm X." A different man said. I jumped a little because I didn't notice him till now because of all the smoke.
"Nique." I replied.
"Heard you want me to - put you on. Is this true?"
"Yeah. I needed a way to make money, fast money, and I was sent to you."
"Age?"
"14."
"Why?"
"Huh?" I asked with a look of confusion on my face.
He blew smoke out of his nose before he answered me. "Why are you trying to sell drugs at fourteen?"
I was hesitant to answer at first. "Tired of seeing my mama struggle to put food in me and my family's mouths. I'm not just gonna sit there and watch her live like this."
"I feel you Youngin'. Have you sold before? Let alone seen a drug before?"
"No."
"Look here. Imma give you a chance because I've been in your situation before. I'll get one of my boys to teach you the do's and don'ts of selling. Be here tomorrow, same time. My boys will be here to get you. You start in 2 days. Now get the hell out my truck you blowing my high." He said.
I opened the door and got out. As soon as I shut the door, they sped off into the night.
*Flashback Over*
Money gives me pleasure, power, and it's loyal. Money is bae. Me & Money is the only relationship I'll ever be in. If money keeps treating me this good, I'll never need a nigga in my life. The only thing money can't provide is love. I love money, but does money love me back?
