Ash's POV:

"Ooops~ Shhh~" I hushed with my index finger on my mouth.

We have been hiding here since before when those men downstairs came and we were stuck in here cause we didn't want to be found and, now, I  think they know about our presence already.

Lana kept her twin sisters secure within her arms and we heard the footsteps going up the stair. Oh no~ I eyed Lana who got her worried look on me too. Lana is currently eleven years old and her twin sisters are six years old.

"I think they knew we're here..." I trailed off in a whisper and, quickly, I led the three in a certain dark room and closed the door before I led them to hide in a wardrobe and I hid behind the standing mirror.

"You are finally back, boy! Don't try to scare us you puny rat~! You shouldn't have came back and should have just stayed behind the back of your proud man~!!" I heard the men running up the stairs and I got puzzled after hearing what one of them spoke up.

"You little Zoan boy!!"

We have already been hearing them from downstairs since before because they were so loud and now I could still hear how their footsteps trembles the wooden floor of this mansion and I can already hear their wild voices in search as if they are angry by any chance.

"SHOW YOURSELF, BOY~"

"WE KNOW YOU ARE HERE~!!"

"YOU SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT YOUR OLD MAN WITH YOU, LITTLE ZOAN~!! EHEHEHE."

And there came a crash that obviously is a door being crashed. I think they are smashing the doors of each room here in the second floor.. I need to think of something and fast... I know I can't face these guys for whatever reason~

"Third street at the abandoned house down the mountain, got it~! I'll be off now!" And I knowingly dashed off heading my way to that address that I didn't bother looking back anymore when I heard May to have called unto me and continued my way.

I ran down the mountainside and passing the garbage pile where Dawn and I threw the garbages earlier. I trodded my way until I have gone by the first and second streets and then I curved reaching the third street. There were a lot of trees at the third street and I finally arrived at the abandoned house that is the only house around the place so I slowly opened the big, old gate that were creeping with vines. I saw some signs of footmarks and there might be someone else who enetered in just recently... I wonder if it is that girl~

"I wonder if that girl lives here?? I thought she said near here?? But there are no other houses around here so maybe here in this old mansion?? This is totally a mansion for sure before it was abandoned..."

I trodded my way passing the flowerbeds and on the stone pathway leading to the house while scanning the whole area and then I started calling out for the girl. I saw her to have revealed herself when she opened the front door and she was likely not expecting to see me that her eyes were solely chatechizing me when I drew nearer.

"I have come to give you this???" I told her and I raised the medallion that I wore around my neck and I took it off walking nearer and nearer to the front door that she slowly opened it but I traced a sense of fear from her eyes.
