            Fwoosh! Nothing's better than soaring through the sky, free wheeling around with your wings and breathing the thin, pure air. And if you think that's fun, try finding a huge pack of horses, then dive bomb them. Well, Gazzy would love to dive bomb horses.

            Oh, sorry. I'm max. No, not short for Maxine. Just max. if you're ready and you have the courage to read this, be prepared for the adventure of a lifetime. I'll join in, and you keep up, sound good?

            Ok, it all started roughly 15 years ago, when some mad scientists (crazy mad, not anger mad, though some of them seemed to have anger issues, mostly around me.) wanted to play with some human embryos and try to make a hybrid. As you can probably guess, it worked, since the flock and I aren't...normal. I, fang, Iggy, Gazzy, nudge, and angel have DNA in us that isn't even mammal. C'mon, you can guess. Give up? It's AVIAN. Freaking. Bird. We were some of those experiments, but we escaped with the help of Jeb Batchelder, an actually good scientist who cared for us.

            So, Jeb cared for us in this hidden house on the edge of a cliff for years, until he didn't come back one night from his work. We assumed he was dead, and we lived our (what you would call it) normal lives for roughly two years before erasers, basically human-lupine (or wolf, if you don't know the scientific term) hybrids (they were successful experiments like us), dropped in and were trying to kick our butts, but we kicked theirs. We also got total, our talking, flying dog in new york, from the school, when jeb took us from them. More on that later.
