Chapter 10

It's another Monday this strange world.

I don't wanna go to school. It's just so stressful going to school, but I have to go anyways.

I got out of my bed and ran to my siblings room to wake them up, then had my bath and all those things you do in preparation for school then I ran down the stairs and out of the house.

Breakfast isn't something I take on a school morning so I just skip it most of the times, it's a waste of time to me.

Once I came out of my house Summer came out of hers too.

I smiled widely at her as I walked towards her.

" hi there Summer, need someone to walk you to school " I don't know why I find it interesting to annoy this girl, but I do.

" definitely not " she said in an annoyed  voice and began walking down the side walk, I followed close beside her.

" okay you hate me but you don't have to make it so obvious " I said trying to keep up with her hasty foot steps.

" look I'm just trying to be nice" she didn't even look in my direction she just kept walking, while I was jugging just to catch up with her.

" look I'll show you around school if you want " she came to a stop and turned to face me.

" okay, okay you can show me around your school or whatever... but don't introduce me to any of your friends " she said and continued walking away.

" can you at least walk slower " I called from behind her. She stopped again and waited until I caught up with her then began walking again and this time was actually walking and not running.

We soon reached school and the weirdest thing happened, Reesh walked up to me when I was showing Summer around.

" hi Reesha " I said smiling at her.
" who is she " Reesha said gesturing to Summer. 

" oh, this is my neighbour, Reesha meet Summer, Summer, Reesha " I smiled at Summer, who in returned frowned at me.

" I told you not to introduce me to any of your friends " she whispered in my ear, I could sense the anger in her.

" she's not my friend, she's like my enemy " I whispered to her looking at Reesha's face.

" I thought Freddy was your neighbour " she said the frown on her face not moving an inch.

" ya but he moved out some weeks ago " I said in a matter-of-factly voice.

" and he didn't even tell me " she whispered to her self her frown turning into a sad look she turned around to go.

" why was she talking to you " I jumped at the sound of Shirley's voice from behind me.

" Shirley hi, Shirley I want you to meet Summer, Summer meet Shirley "

" O my gosh I told you not to introduce me to any of your friends " Summer said from beside me. Shirley looked at Summer with a friendly smile but Summer returned it with a scowl.

" I got to go see you later " Shirley said walking away. I guess she feels uncomfortable around Summer, poor child.

" are you coming or what " Summers voice brought me out of my day dream.

" ya sure " I said.

I saw Andrew at his locker and walked up to him but stopped midway and turned to Summer.

" Summer, I want to go greet my friend there do want to come "
I said pointing my finger at Andrew. She took a little time looking for the person I was pointing at.

" you mean that guy in the grey hoodie " she said shock evident in her voice.

" ya "

" o my gosh yes " she said pushing me forward.

" okay "

I walked up to him and Summer followed closely behind.

" hi Andrew " I said waving awkwardly at him because of the way Summer is acting funny beside me.

" hi Saph, how's everything going " he  said smiling at me. Andrew is such a nice person with that nice smile.

"  fine just wanted to say hi " I said shrugging my shoulder, the feel of Summers elbow on my hand made me give her a look.

" what are you doing " I asked

" what are you doing, aren't you supposed to introduce me " she whispered.

" but you said I shouldn't introduce you to my friends "

" just introduce me "

" okay "

I turned to look at Andrew with a smile.

" Andrew I would like you to meet Summer, my neighbour "

He stretched his arm in her direction for a shake.

She shook his hand without hesitation and smiled widely at him.

What is wrong with this one.

School is over and I'm in the library doing a project with this Bianca girl, she's my partner.

" It's getting late maybe we should get this all packed up " I told her , getting up from my seat to pack all the books on the table.

" ya " she said also getting off her seat and closing her laptop.

" see you later " I walked out of school and smell of rain hit me like a brick wall.

" not again " I sighed to myself. I don't want to walk in the rain 😭

So I'm going to run. Firstly I but my phone in my leather bag, then I looked at the pouring rain and began calculating the steps I was going to take to avoid falling and then just when I was about to take off into the rain Bianca's voice stopped me.

" what are you doing "

I turned to look at her.

" going home "

" I could just drop you at your house " she told me.

" no you don't have to "

" so you prefer getting soaked under the rain to getting in a nice warm car? "she shrugged her shoulders.

" okay " and she began walking away. I ran after her, cause there is no way I'm going home under the rain after someone offered to carry me in their car.

" wait, I was just Kidding "

I got in her car and she started it and turned to me.

" address "
