We are all in a masquerade,
Where putting up a disguise has become part of life's trade;
We are all in this complex charade,
Where few are masters while some are merely getting played.

In this act of life, parts are not fairly distributed,
Some play the overlords while others are expected to be muted.
It's all convoluted to an extent where equality seems like an optical-illusion,
Where humans are so judgemental that they believe in forgone conclusions

In this masked ball of life,
Where righteousness and authority strife;
We all look upto false heroes whom we wish to emulate,
But with their evils and sins we hardly resonate

However, in this world of empty facade,
There are some who sing truthful ballads;
They are heroes fighting for the masses,
They are heroes who couldn't care any less about the classes.

But their biggest foe is the bureaucracy of this masquerade's direction,
Where it's a fallacy to break any convention;
Where supporting them would only lead to social detention,
And the masters take this to be a victorious sign of their oppression.

Nonetheless like every masquerade, life is divided into acts,
Where no one's supremacy remains intact;
The mob shall turn the tide sooner or later,
Vehemently looking for their ideal vindicator.

But this dream can be achieved,
Only if the adage of oneness is conceived;
Unity beyond class, unity beyond divide,
Setting all our differences aside;
For it is time to end this forced masquerade,
For it is time to end this forced masquerade...
