Chapter 22: Tour meeting

Sydney's POV:

It's been almost a week and I haven't gotten a call or even a text from Luke. I'm starting to think that maybe this 'date' isn't going to happen.

Today the boys have a meeting with management and I decided to tag alone, since I really have nothing else better to do with my time.

Once we got there all the boys piled out, with me following. They all knew what to do and where to go, as for me who didn't so I just stayed in the back and followed.

We walked down a hall which seemed like it took forever, when we came to a room where all the boys started to walk in. I grabbed Zayn's arm. He stopped and turned around to me. "Is it okay if I go in there?" I asked. "Yeah it's fine, if you don't want to you can probably sit out here and wait for us." I took another look in the room and there were several business men sitting in very intimidating suits, "I think I'll wait out here." "okay, we shouldn't take too long."

I took a seat on a bench across from the door. It had been around 15 minutes when a group of four people walked by and went into the room. I couldn't tell who they were or even see their faces since they had hats on and hoods up. I just decided to play on my phone until this ended, since it seemed to be taking a while already.

Now it's been over 30 minutes and I was starting to get hungry. 'They should have a vending machine here right?' I thought. I got up and started walking down this ridiculously long hallway.

The further I walked the more I realized how there was nothing down here but more doors to more meeting rooms, not even a poster or painting. It was so plain and boring here.

My phone buzzed in my pocket.
The amazing lou "hey meetings over meet us in the car." 'Well it's not like I was gonna find any food down here anyways' I thought and started on my travel back.

When I was back to where I started, I saw people leaving the room, the same four people. Only there were three now. They turned toward me and had big smiles on their faces. "Sydney!" They said, rather loudly. Just then the fourth person left the room, Luke. When he heard them say my name his head shot up, that was previously looking at the ground.

His hands were in the pockets of his ripped skinny jeans. He had on a red hat with the hood of his black hoodie over top of it. "Hey Sydney." He said smiling shyly at me. "Hi Luke, what's up?" I asked standing next to his tall figure. "We had a tour meeting." oh that explains why all 9 of them were in the same room. " oh cool." I said, not saying much,thinking back to how he was suppose to call me, and didn't. Luke stopped looking at me for the first time since he walked out. "Uh guys.." and they rest of the boys nodded and left us alone. He knew as well as I did that we weren't going to say anything important if we weren't alone.

"So... You didn't call.." I just decided to put it out there, probably cause I'm good at making things awkward. "Yeah, I was actually planning on calling you later today." "oh." Now I feel really stupid for worrying about it. "So do you still wanna do something with me?" He asked all nervous not making eye contact and playing with his lip ring, which was actually really freakin adorable. "Well of course." I said caressing his arm, to make he know that everything was okay. He looked up at me with his clear blue eyes. "So is tomorrow night okay with you?" "Yes, I'll see you then Hemmings." And I winked at him making him grin at my playfulness.

My phone buzzed again in my pocket this time from Niall. "Hey you better hurry up. Louis is getting mad." "Ok almost there." I quickly replied.

"I have to go." "Okay, I'll see you tomorrow." He said waving. "And don't be late." I said messing with him. "To see you, never." I instantly blushed. He is seriously the sweetest.

When I finally got in the car all heads turned toward me. "Where were you?" Louis snapped. "I went roaming and had to find my way back." He just rolled his eyes at me, but I was use to Lou's temper so it didn't really bother me much. Zayn leaned in closer to me "where were you really?" "Yeah?" Harry asked. "What so you mean 'really'?" "Your all smiley, it's weird." Niall spoke up. "It's none of your business!" I spoke with all the sass I have. "Does little Sydney have a boyfriend?!" Zayn said making Louis and Liam snap their heads up and looked my way surprised. 'Oh great!'
