she sighs

"That was all...I'm sorry you had to find everything out by yourself..."

"alright...just leave boxes and stuff in my room..."

you get up

-one week later-

you've been packing all of your stuff for the past week, so none of your friends came over. You've been making excuses that your brother and his wife need space and stuff like that. Shuyang and Zeyu were helping Mingrui load his stuff into the taxi, ready to go to the airport

"Where's Li Fang?"

"I don't know..she's not home..."

"Come on, Mingrui, we have to get going"

"Mom, just a few-"

"Let's go"

He opened the door

"See you guys after summer..."

You ran to him

You hug him and he smiles. He rested his chin on top of your head and you hug him tighter

"I wouldn't let you leave without a goodbye again"

You let go and look up at him

"Stay healthy, okay? Make sure to eat right and not play games all day."

"And work hard. If i hear you doing anything stupid I will fly to wherever you are and beat the crap out of you."

You hand him a gift

"Don't open it until you get to the airport. I don't want to see your reaction"

"Okay..."

he look at you with a smile and tears start to brim his eyes

"Don't cry. You big baby"

You wipe his face. He hugs you again

"I still don't want to leave."

"I think it's a little too late for that."

"I've never been away from you this long...ever..."

"It's okay..."

you give him a faint smile

"Go Go. you're going to be late"

"I'll see you guys next school year"

you stayed silent

Mingrui threw him bag into the car. you thought he was going to get into the car but he grabbed your hand and gave you one last kiss.

he backs away and smiles

"Bye FangFang"

"B-bye..."

He gets in the car and you three watch as he drives off

Mingrui got to the airport and was sitting around, waiting for the plane with the rest of the choir

He grabbed the small present out of his pocket and he unwraps it to find a small, yellow toy flip phone

You hand him a toy phone

"Why can't I have the yellow one?!"

"Because I got these. So I get to choose which one I want."

"I don't want the pink phone!"

There was a paper sticking out, so he pulled it out

"You got the yellow one. Happy, you big fat jerk?"

He chuckled and felt a tear fall down his cheek
