You, Negative, and Hero were walking down the yellow brick road to your next destination. Negative noticed that Hero was getting tired. "We'll rest at our next stop. It shouldn't be too far off." You saw Negative look back and curve his eye at you. "Did he just smile at me?" You wondered. All three of you wandered to the next stop. "Goodnight, Hero. Sweet dreams!" Negative said. You saw Hero fall asleep in no time. You felt happy that she fell asleep so easily. Negative walked over to you. "Hello Y/N~" He greeted. You blushed brightly. "H-Hi!" You greeted back. It had been a little while since Negative had paid attention to you. "You know, Hero's fast asleep, and she won't be awake for a little while, so we can do anything we want!" "L-Like what?" You asked. "Care to dance, my fair lady?~" Negative asked, reaching his hand out to you. You thought about this, and came to the conclusion that dancing with Negative wouldn't be so bad. You took his hand and danced with him. You felt lighter than a feather in his grasp, and he twirled you around in a delicate manner. The monochromatic telly-head stared lovingly at you as you danced. You gave him the same look. Whenever you were around Negative, you felt like nothing or no one could hurt you, especially if it was a grief or a fear. Negative dipped you down, and you looked up at him. You both kept eye contact, not blinking. You trailed your hands and gently held Negative's arms. "You looking stunning from up here~" Negative complimented. "You look very handsome from down here!~" You complimented back. As Negative held you in his arms, he brought you back up. You leaned in and passionately kissed him. He tried to kiss you back, despite having no lips. The kiss was more than just perfect. Negative cupped your cheek as you held eachother close. For the longest time, you had a huge crush on the monochromatic telly-head. You didn't like him just for his looks, you loved how fatherly he was to Hero. You also admired how fearless he was. You always felt safe around him. And now here you both were, kissing by the Pool of Tears. The both of you finally pulled away. You lovingly gazed at each other. "I love you, Y/N!~" Negative said to you, in a loving tone. "I love you too, Negative!~" You confessed. You saw how relieved and happy Negative was when he finally confessed his feelings to you. "Do you actually mean it?" "Yes, Negative! I really do! Do you love me back?" "Of course I do! I've loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you!~" You felt completely overjoyed to hear those words. You both hugged each other tightly, not letting go for a long time. "Y/N, I love you because you're sweet, beautiful, funny, and you care about Hero so much!" Negative confessed to you. "Negative, I've loved you ever since I met you! I love you because you're such a great father figure to Hero and you're so brave and fearless!" Negative "smiled" at you, and the both of you kissed each other one last time before going to sleep.
The next morning, when Hero woke up, she looked at the both of you. "I had the strangest dream, Negative! You 'an Y/N were dancing 'an then you kissed 'an started talking to each other!" You saw Negative's eye widen, he chuckled nervously. "Sounds very strange indeed! Now come! We must get moving!" You ran up to both of them and walked alongside Negative, happy that you and him were finally together.
