Just A Walk In The Park, NOT

Ryder's POV:

   "Ryder!" My dad yelled to wake me up "You need to walk your dog, you have been ignoring him all week!"

"OK, sorry. I have been super busy. I'll take him to the dog park before i go to Andy's." I explained.

He walked in to my room and said, "Yikes! That is one ripe smell! When is the last time you took a shower, boy?"

"I don't know, a couple days." I answered, but as I thought about it, I knew that it had been a little more than that. "I'll hop in the shower before the dog park, got anything else for me to do?" I asked sarcastically as I rolled my eyes into the back of my head.

"No, I think I'm good." He said, a small smile playing on his lips as he walked out of my bedroom.

I walked down the hall to the bathroom for a quick shower. When I was done with my shower I only had an hour to walk my puppy, so I grabbed his leash, hooked it on his collar and we ran out the door to the dog park.

It took 10 minutes to get to the dog park with Apollo. Right when I got there, even before I could give him a ball to play with he used all his strength to pull out of my hand.

He ran straight for Axel Ackerman, the quarterback of our rival high school. He was the coolest kid in his school, all the girls wanted him. Ugh, I can't stand people who get everything they want.

"Apollo" I sighed angrily as I rolled my eyes and I chased after my energetic puppy.

He stopped running right in front of Axel. Once I caught up to him he started running around with his littermate who just so happens to belong Axel, but he was acually strong enough to hold onto the leash of Orion. But then Apollo started circling us, which made Orion do the same only Axel still didn't let go of the leash. Orion's leash just kept getting tighter and tighter around us and before we knew it we lost our balance and I fell on him.

"Geesh, personal space much." He said sarcastically. "Not that I mind looking at your sexy green eyes this close, but try and keep composure around me, OK?" He asked, knowing good and well that his dog tied us up.

I quickly jumped off of Axel, wondering why he said that sarcastically. If we were in opposite positions i would be very serious about that. I grabbed Apollo's leash and started to make my way back home when I felt a warm hand on my wrist, I turned and saw him again.

"What do you want?" I asked, as red as a lobster. Even I couldn't tell if i was blushing or getting angry.

He pulled me just close enough to wisper in my ear and asked "Why are you blushing? Do ya like whatcha see?"

"No, not really." I stated, getting more and more red by the second. OK I was definitely angry. "Honestly I'd rather look at whatever that is." I said pointing at a dog with no fur except for a mohawk, a giant underbite, and eyes that were so small it was unhealthy.

"You keep telling yourself that." He said, with a smirk, as if he was trying to make me punch him.

"I will, thank you very much." I sassed back.

"OK, well when you change your mind hit me up."

"Anything for you, Axel!!!" I said batting my eyes pretending i was a school girl that just couldn't keep my cool. I mean I was about to lose my cool, but definitely not like that.

I started to walk away with Apollo and saw my sister, Rosie with all the rest of our siblings. "Why was he talking to you?" She asked. "You do know he's straight, right?

"I know, I know. He is just a boring, everyday jock." I said, annoyed at myself for lying, and then mad at myself for thinking that wasn't true.

She gave me the double stroller with Remmy (my 4yr old brother), and Reya (my 2yr old sister), then told Ricky (my 8yr old sister) to go to me. "I am going to Andy's, we have to get more people for astronomy club!" I protested.

"I don't care, I had them yedterday!" She yelled, embarrasing me. "It's your turn!"

"Fine." I muttered reluctantly.

She ran toword her bff, Nevaeh, who just happens to be Axel's girlfriend. It was right then that Axel knew how he recognized me. Rosie was my twin sister and we were basically identical.

"So, you're a Rosales." He said with a smirk "Nice."
