Édith Niknejad - Édith is half-American Caucasian and half-Lebanese. She's strong and confident. She's a successful executive editor in chief at the major international publishing house Penguin Random House. She's really into fashion but she still relies rather heavily on her best friend Yvonne's fashion advice. She loves pink gin. She is obsessed with heels - mules specifically - and sunsets. She's 5ft2. She's curvy and heavier than most, but she absolutely adores it. She's really confident about her body and in terms of her life, but she's still very quiet and she can be quite unsure and insecure when it comes to her fiancée Zavier.
Zavier McKenzie - Zavier is half-Lebanese and half-Scottish. He grew up in the Highlands (Northern Scotland) so his Scottish accent is very thick. He's a Restaurateur - a job in which he combines his degree in architecture and his expertise as a former chef. Zavier is very artsy - he's a former Brooklynite living in Manhattan. He's got quite a few tattoos and he spends a lot of his time shirtless - that's just his vibe. Also he almost never wears underwear - if he can help it. He adores Édith and worships the ground she walks on. He's always trying to make his lovely fiancée break out of her shell - did I mention he ABSO-FUCKING-LUTELY worships the grounds she walks on? Yvonne Ife Bouvier - Yvonne is black and is half-French and half British-African. She grew up traveling the world but her accent is American when she speaks English. She is Édith's best friend. She's a successful lawyer but is currently working less because she is very heavily pregnant. Yvonne doesn't want to get married at all but she loves Olivier - her life partner, with whom she is expecting a child - very much.
Olivier Beauchêne - Olivier is white and French; he is tall. He's a museum curator at the Neue Gallerie in New York City. He is Yvonne's partner. He primarily speaks french because he is self-conscious about his accent, and when he does speak English he has a thick British-French accent. He is kind of quiet and introverted but he is a TOTAL Dom and there's definitely some papi kink happening there. PLAYED BY TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET
