Chapter 12; Prom Night

It's fucking prom night. Yesterday me and Ashton bought my dress that matches with his tie -cliché, I know- and now Erica is helping me with my hair.

"Hey, I never got to ask you, who's your prom date?" I asked her. I haven't seen Erica in a few days, so I don't know what's been happening.

"Okay, I know you're gonna go all Godzilla mode on me when I tell you this but," She paused, making me nervous.

"Oh God who is it?"

"Luke Hemmings." She finished, making my jaw drop.

"Luke! Are you serious?! Erica why?"

"Shoot, I knew this was gonna happen. Alright so he asked me yesterday and we both didn't have a date so I said yes," Erica said with her eyes closed. She was scared, she knew Luke told me he loves me.

"Jesus, do you know how awkward this is gonna be? Okay, I forgive you. It's not like you have a crush on him or anything." I laughed. Erica went silent.

"Erica?" I asked her, hoping she would reply.

"Can we talk about this later? I'm trying to fix your hair..." She said as she brushed the side of my hair.

"I'll let it slide, for now." It was about 6:50 so Ash would be here soon.

We arrived at the covered court -where the prom was being held- and I spotted Calum and Michael. Their girlfriends couldn't make it, so they went alone.

Ash intertwined our fingers together as we walked to their table. Erica was in between me and Luke. We walked over to the other half of 5sos and I introduced Erica to them.

"Hey guys, this is my best friend Erica, she's Luke's date," I stated as she waved her hand at them.

"Alright, let's get this party started!" The deejay screamed through the microphone. He played Wasted by Tiësto ft. Matthew Koma.

I grabbed Ashton's arm and lead both of us to the dance floor. The rest of our friends joined us too, even Sophia and the others.

I saw that Romina was with some guy named Aaron and Wualyng was with Julian. Sophia was with no one, which made me a little sad.

Ashton made up some kind of dance and we all went along with it. Everyone was laughing, everyone was happy. The song ended and Ash brought both of us to the front if the stage.

Ashton smiled at me, and stood on top of the stage. "Ashton Fletcher Irwin what the fxck do you think you're doing?" I whispered to him but he just smirked at me.

He grabbed the microphone from the deejay and said, "ATTENTION EVERYONE!" The deejay stopped the music as everyone went silent and listened to Ashton.

"Alright now that you're all listening, if you see this beautiful girl in front of me," Ash pointed at me as I blushed.

"I'd like to ask her something." He added.

"How am I gonna do this? Okay so- I- Ashley fucking Miller I'm in love with you. And as cliché as it sounds, you're absolutely perfect and I love you for that. I love you for putting others before yourself, I love you for the way your eyes sparkle,

"And I love you cause you're you. You're the girl I fell in love with. So what I'm trying to ask is," Ashton got down from the stage, held my hands and said,

"Be mine?" He finished as everyone 'aw'ed. I don't know what to say. I mean I only met the guy about a week ago, but I really feel something when I'm with him.

"Yes," I finally said, causing ash's lips to crash onto mine. Sparks flew everywhere. I guess Ashton just has that effect on me.

"I'm a million times happier now that I get to call you my girlfriend." Ash said, making my smile even bigger.

"Me too, noob," I said. Ever since that night when he asked me to prom I've been calling him noob. He kept on trying to impress me, but failed therefore calling him noob.

"Hey, I'm gonna get some thing from my car, alright? Be right back." He said, exiting the prom. I decided to go to Sophia, since she was all alone.

"Sophie! Why don't you have a date?" I pouted as I spread out my arms to hug her.

"I guess no guy wants to go with me," She replied, making me feel bad for her.

"Aw, soph! It's okay, let me bring you to Nash. He's in my drama class and he's pretty cute," I said, winking at her. She just laughed and nodded. We walked over to him and I saw that Sophia was nervous. I smiled at her and introduced both of them to each other.

"Nash, this is my friend Sophia, she has no date. Sophia, this is Nash, your new friend." I said as they exchanged some 'hey's.

"Now you two get to know each other while I look for Ashton." I added, going outside. I saw Ash's car, but he wasn't anywhere near it.

I just sighed and looked around the parking lot. I saw Tiffany making out with some guy, and the guy was really enjoying it. I mentally puked until I realised who the guy was.

"Ashton?"
