After a long day of travelling me and my family finally got to Kirton point caravan park in Port Lincoln, South Australia. It is the most amazing place that you can imagine to be in. We come here every year as a family holiday for about 3 weeks at a time.
This year I thought that it was going to be just the same as it is every year, all I'll do is lay at the beach in the sun and try to get a tan, but mostly spend time with my family as we don't get to spend a lot of time together before the holiday. Catch up on the books that I wanted to read, and hope that something exciting will happen.
I've been thinking a lot lately that maybe there's something wrong with me. Like maybe I'm not good enough for anyone. I'm 18 and just graduated high school, and haven't had a boyfriend. That's not to say that I haven't been interested in anyone, but they just haven't been interested in me in the same way.
After we unpacked our bags I decided to go for a walk with my book, 'The first kiss', down to the water to see how it is this year. It was a long walk from the top of the hill where our cabin is to the bottom of the hill where the beach is. The weather is already amazing so I expect it to be perfect as always.
As I was walking down I noticed a boy out the corner of my eye that looked really cute, so I quickly fixed my hair light brown hair, it was down and curly, I was wearing a cute dress thankfully, it was light blue denim and I was wearing brown sandals. I noticed that he was wearing a light blue pair of board shorts and a white long sleeve top, he has sandy blonde short hair and looks quite tall and built with muscles, and pale but tanned skin. As I got closer to the water I walked past him and he looked up at me and smiled, so I smiled back to him. He said "Hi" in an attractive deep voice, so I said "Hey" back to him.
He continued with, "What brings you to this beautiful place?", "Oh, um, me and my family have been coming here since I was about 8 years old, so 10 years now just for a family holiday once a year, how about you?", I asked. "Well I'm from Johannesburg, South Africa, and some of my family came here sometime last year and they suggested it to us for our holiday so me and my partners and sister came here", "Oh well that's nice, enjoy you're stay here then", I replied with. He looked at me as he stood up and said "Well it was lovely meeting you, I have to go and help with dinner now, maybe I'll bump into you here, same time tomorrow?" He asked, smiling at me. "Yeah sure, you too" I said smiling back, "What's your name?", "Sienna, you?" "Adam" he replied smiling still and then he walked up the hill into the mass amounts of caravans and disappeared.
I walked back up the hill in amazement, I had butterflies in my stomach from just a single conversation. I'd never had this feeling before, it's something that I hadn't experienced before and I hope that it doesn't stop.
Later that night after dinner all I could think of was Adam, and how incredibly cute he was, and how much that he over talked the fact that he went into detail about meeting him there tomorrow, maybe he thought I was cute too?
Also the fact that I will definitely be meeting him there tomorrow.
Maybe this will be a good summer after all.___________________________________________________________________
