The whole situation with Kahlil was getting to me. I've been in my feelings all damn day. I felt like my only purpose to him was sex.

"What's wrong?" Amia asked me snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Nothing." We were sitting in Starbucks just chilling, Kacey couldn't come because she had to watch her little brother. I didn't want to talk about my situation in here, since sometimes I get loud when I'm upset.

She looked at me with concern, "You don't wanna talk about it in here?"

Did this bitch just read my mind?

I nodded my head yes and got up and grabbed my stuff so we could go to the car to talk.

"Okay, tell me what's wrong babe," Amia said getting comfortable.

"When I drove Kahlil home yesterday, he was texting Tiana about them fucking on Sunday."

"The school hoe Tiana?" I nodded my head yes in response.

"Yea, that nigga getting fucked up. Text Lamonte to see where they at."

I did exactly that. I honestly just want to talk to him at this point. I don't want any confusion dealing with him.

I put my car in reverse, "They at his house." We left Starbucks and I started feeling nervous about this whole thing now.

3:15 p.m.

I pulled up to Lamonte's house and parked parked in the driveway.

Amia stopped me right at the front door, "You gonna be okay talking to him yourself?"

"I don't like confrontation much and I feel like he's gonna take it that way," I said pouting. "I feel like you can handle that. You're good at telling it how it is."

Jerome opened the door before I could even touch the door knob, "Hey y'all."

"Hey," me and Amia said in unison giving fake smiles.

We walked to the living room and I could smell some za. I know Lamonte high as hell.

Lamonte hugged me mad tight, "Hey sis." I pushed him off, "Boy move; we were just together like two hours ago."

"Stop acting like a ass," he said laughing. I ignored him and sat down on the couch next to Kahlil but I didn't greet him. "You can't speak?" he asked.

I ignored him and turned to Jerome, "Let me hit the blunt." He handed it to me and I took a couple hits. Every time I exhaled, it was out my nose.
