Chapter 1

A/N you can play the song if you want, it's quite random but I didn't know what to put so I just chose one from my playlist
Also this is my first time genuinely trying to write so yeah ✌️

*ring ring* my phone blares.
I ignore it for a while until it gets on my last nerve

"Hey" I heard my friend, Savannah, say down the phone
"What the hell, it's like 6am"
"Yeah I know, I can read the time"
"Why are you calling me?" I blankly say

"Well I was planning on going out with the others to the mall in about 4 hours and I was wondering if you wanted to come "
"...what"

So this girl wakes me up at the crack of dawn telling me I had around 4 hours to get out of bed and get ready. It takes at least 6 for to do that.

Savannah was always annoying but I would never hate her for it I mean we're best friends.

"You didn't think to tell me earlier?"
"Would you've preferred for me to call you at 4am instead?"
"I hate you sometimes" I say jokingly questioning if sometimes I actually meant it

"Right back at ya"
" ugh well I'll go but you're gonna have to drive"

"Well no shit, you can't dri-"

*beep* the phone went as I hung up.

I thought about my day ahead and considered if this would be the day I told Cole I had a crush on him. I'd been procrastinating to do this for years, and one by one everyone else found out about it but now all I have to do is tell Cole.

I knew that Cole would be there, considering the fact that when Sav says 'the others' she means Cole, Brianna, Blake, lily and kade.

We're all 19 and have been friends since we were 15, to be fair we still acted 15 to this day or even 13.

Sav is the 'gem' of the group, she's the glue that holds us all together, she is loud, kind and absolutely stunning.

Now let me tell you, when the name of Coles contact in my phone is "PAPI<3" and his contact name for me is just 'Sophie'
you can see what sort of 'relationship' we have.

I put my tight curls in a half up half down, put light makeup on my warm honey skin, put on some clothes and waited for Savannah to come.

20 minutes later she finally came with her crusty car.

she always makes fun of how I can't drive yet It's so embarrassing having to go in this pile of trash.

What was more embarrassing was when she called out
"Get in loser we're going-" she tried to finish
"Shut up" I say glaring into her soul
"Oh...okay"

It was a quick drive, quite quiet since we had nothing to really talk about.

Sav has been quite different recently but I overreact a lot so it wouldn't be a surprise if In fact nothing was bothering her.

We arrived and like usual, we were late. We saw the others and began to walk towards them.

"About time" Cole said as we approached the mall entrance.

His voice sent chills down my spine.
"Something wrong" he taunted as I stood in awe at his deep voice.

I loved his black hair and his deep green eyes and his hot bo-

"You know what, I'm hungry" Lily called out while I was trying to finish my daydreams about Cole and his nicely defined bod-

"McDonald's?" Kade blurts out before anyone can make a suggestion on a less 'unhealthy cholesterol giving' place which will actually give quality food.
