He really couldn't help it.
It felt so fucking good, to sink into this dark ocean.
Tobio could see the movement of the guy in front of him. He could completely feel his aura, similar to his own, a deep blue sparkle appearing in his eyes, even though it was more apparent. Lighter.
He was really fast. Aomine, was it? And bigger than him too. Himself was rather rusted when it came to basketball, but he remembers the bases, and definitely didn't forget the rules. It's been years after all, and the little exercices he got just before this match familiarised him a little with the heavy ball.
And as Aomine passed him, faster than anyone he met, and he analysed quickly the situation, irked at the idea that this rude guy easily passed him. The setter quickly turned, and reached out for the ball violently, causing the dark blue haired player to loose it on the ground.
The sound of the rolling ball echoed through the place, and the surprised faces turned into curious ones.
Did this volleyball player just stopped Aomine at the first seconds of the game?
Even if Aomine held back.. It was impressive.
Was it the zone..?
No, Akashi impassibly noticed. He hadn't reached the door yet. He's just into the maximal concentration. But not bad, for a newcomer.
"Ehhh.. Why nobody told me that he could use it too?"
Kageyama turned to the source of the voice, and found himself tense, before the imposing body of Murasakibara. He internally found the shudders he just got weird. Why was he practically on guard now, whereas earlier, he was totally fine with his presence..?
Aomine turned, ignoring Atsushi, to face the one who stopped him, and fixed their eyes. As a consequence, Tobio hissed, when he felt the strong presence trying to impose superiority into him.
Aomine grinned. Under the worried look of Hinata, he stepped back, calming Kageyama, and got back to his side of the field, not without grumbling a last sentence.
"You sur know how to find 'em."
And Kageyama knew, a second later, that this statement wasn't directed to him, when he watched Hinata's face grimace. He didn't really understand, but this simple expression on Hinata translated him that his teammate wasn't really happy about all this situation.
And he was right.
You know, Hinata couldn't have the calmness of his Captain. Or the patience of Shintarou-senpai. So when Aomine boldly attacked Kageyama, knowing that the setter would need a few minute to adjust the game, faintly irritated him.
