Alex' pov

Two days ago kara told us about Lenas worries, we told them we'd keep an eye out for them, wich we will. I'm just once again taking care of Kara's wounds idk why she thinks she can be supergirl again for everything Lena's not gonna be happy at all, I'm starting to think that I'll tell lena then take a day off, don't wanna be here with angry lena ever again.
„You really have to tell lena?" kara pouts at me „hell yea, it's your fault for doing supergirl work again" she sighs and looks down „I know but I can't stop you know how I am" I chuckle „yea guess I know you well enough but still we gotta tell lena. She's your girlfriend she has the right to know" she's sitting up now after lying under red sunlight for some time „I'll buy you food if you don't tell her" she pouts again and I laugh „nope" she groans and gets up „beer?" I smirk at her and playfully hit her arm „nice try but nope" she sighs again „you're no fun" she starts walking away „thanks for the compliment!" for a second she stops walking and looks at me only to stick her tongue out „love you too, sister!" I call after her before she flies away out of the window „hey! Come back! You gotta talk to lena!" what a way of getting away from trouble.
„Hey! Where's kara?" Shit that's lena
„uhm you're like ten seconds too late, she just flew away" she's lookin like she's not believing anythin she hears „she what? Flew?" she raises her eyebrow, folding her arms in front of her „yeaa she's maybe back to being supergirl" now she's lookin mad „and maybe got hurt this morning when she was fighting an alien" she's glaring at me but not saying anything that's what I meant! Not her yelling is scary but her silence is.
„Uhmm so yea but she's okay now" I'm nervously biting my lip trying to avoid her glare „how could you let her do that?" I'm simply confused now „why me?" she's now looking like she's thinking about something „you're right, it's not your fault, I'll just wait here for her" she smiles and walks away to winn and I can finally get to work- basically what I'm here for but yea lena luthor couldn't care less and we all know that.

„Alex there is someone attacked people downtown, they say it's a Woman throwing bricks, no one got hurt yet but I'll send supergirl too" j'onn speaks from behind making me jump.
God I thought this job was scary but not only that, the boss is scary too.
„yeah I'll go and thanks for scaring me, boss" I stick my tongue out at him, he just shakes his head and walks away slowly so I have to hold my laughter in even longer and he knows that.
*skip to after the drive there*

I didn't need much time to see who we were dealing with and it's kinda worrying me, Lillian luthor. I thought we arrested her? Well for this woman nothing is impossible.
She's in some kind of suit, throwing bricks with notes on it, she didn't see me yet tho so I can take a moment to read that „this war only begun" yeah I think so too but starting a war with throwing bricks? Weak.
I'm still kneeling behind a car waiting for the right moment.
„Oh look who we got here, throwing bricks? I thought you were better than that" I hear supergirl talk and I stop hiding in case she has kryptonite, wouldn't be the first time.
„Oh so you two are here now hm? Underestimating me? I thought you knew better" she throws one at me but kara catches it mid air.

„you won't have a chance to prove anything, Lillian. I'm gonna arrest you. Again.
She smirks "I don't think so. These bricks here? They're actually bombs oh yeah also filled with kryptonite" she holds up some kind of remote "if I press this button you have 30 seconds to save all the people here. Good luck" she winks at supergirl and presses the button, smashes the remote on the ground just as a black van drives by and takes her with them.
"You get the people out here I'll take of the bombs!" Supergirl yells at me as she's starting to fly around, collecting all the bombs and flying into a sea
Please be careful

I'm showing the people where to go as fast as possible and I hear the bombs go off. Kara is still in the water I'm starting to get worried.
I'm looking down into the water, searching for her. "That's why I told you not to play the hero yet!" I hear lena say and faster than I can see she jumped into the water, diving for a few seconds before she comes up again, carrying a who I guess is unconscious Kara bridal style. I walk to her and she's glaring at me "is she okay?" She's brushing some wet hair from Kara's face and smiles a little "she'll be just fine. To your luck. Now let's get her into some warm blanket, I'll take her home" lena says and she doesn't seem to be too mad anymore "I'll drive" she nods and gets into the DEO van with Kara in her arms.

While I'm driving she takes Kara's suit off and leaves her in underwear so she takes her dry jacket to cover her because she's freezing.
She's smiling down at Kara while we're arriving, "see you soon, Alex" she smiles and gets out, carrying Kara inside.

I feel like this really was the start of something big.

I finally updated haha I know it's been way too long but corona and school has shaken my plans up but I'll probably update more because my holidays are starting!😍
