Kageyama POV

When I opened my eyes it was dark.

Too dark.

"Tobio!" I hear, mom? "I'm so glad you're awake! Can you hear me? Does anything hurt?" her voice was filled with worry and concern, it's something I'm not used to.

"Yeah, I can hear you. No nothing hurts but..." I answer her questions.

"What's wrong honey?"

"I can't see you. It's dark." I said, my throat's dry, how did I get like this?

"Excuse me," a girls voice said, it was unexpected and I jumped,"Mr. Kageyama, you were involved in a small house fire, sadly your eyesight was lost in it. It is possible, but very unlikely that you will be getting it back."

I felt like my world had been cut in half. Will I be able to play volleyball? Even worse, will I ever see his smile? His beautiful smile?
