Touch light as a feather, thought I knew better But he puts fire in my veins Quick glance, swift as the ocean, now I am frozen
He takes my breath awayBut I'm not supposed to love him
Not supposed to think about his touch when I'm alone
The love was brand new, now had a dark hue I'm still as a statue, but he brings me to life
Don't care if it's rightTony looked back at the boy with a vexed expression on his face. He had his hands deep in his pockets as he extended them still inside the crimson coloured jacket he was wearing. Taking them out as he walked back towards Nick who stood in silence with a look of awkward confusion.
"Thanks for that!" Tony said. He patted Nick on the back playfully and the two began walking again. Nick thought that after the girls had hiked it back home the night would've been over but he stayed silent. "Give them here." Tony gestured to the carrier bag of alcohol Nick had been holding.
They walked in silence to the top of the pathway before Nick stopped, Tony kept walking before realising the other boy had halted and turned around. Nick was looking down at he ground and fidgeting with the zipper to his jacket. "What are we gonna do? Go to the Rec still?" He asked only looking up after he had asked the question.
Tony held his arms up at either side of him. The blue carrier bag hanging off his wrist seemed like it was about to snap and he laughed.
"The Rec is where you take girls. I've got something different in mind." Was all he said. Nick wasn't exactly sure what that meant. He wasn't even exactly sure that he could trust Tony but still he slowly dragged his feet forward to walk next to Tony. Tony placed his arm around Nick's shoulder. It took them around five minutes to get to where Tony had intended them to be. Nick looked at the large group of bushes that had been behind a few houses in lower LA. "This is it?" Nick asked confused. It looked pretty barren, he thought. Apart from the houses that were behind tall dark wooden fences, it was a large mess of bushes and trees further in and higher up.
Tony looked disappointed at Nick's reaction. "What do you mean, is this it?" Tony said with a sour look as he mimicked Nick's answer. Nick didn't answer but just inspected the trees close to where Tony was standing.
"Look, come over here...and hold this." Tony demanded softly. Nick walked over to Tony and exchanged the bag from Tony's wrist to Nick's hands. Tony glanced at Nick. A look so small that if Nick had blinked in that moment he would've missed it. Nick didn't know if the confusion that he had felt had appeared on his face but if it did Tony didn't react.
Nick watched as Tony pulled at the sleeves of his jacket as they began to ruffle the further up the arm they got. Once the sleeves were at the elbow he shook his hands loosening them. Almost like the way a boxer does before training. Did he really bring he here just to exchange blows, Nick thought. Instead of lunging for Nick his hands dug deep in the bush looking for something.
After searching his two hands at different positions seemed to grasp something. Tony looked up at Nick who hadn't moved his position with a smirk.
"Okay you ready?" Tony asked.
"Ready for what?" Nick asked in response.Without answering Tony pulled at his hands in the bushes and began wrestling with them continuously pulling at them until they were outstretched far from where they originally were.
"Look?" Tony said realising his grip on the bushes. Unsure of what he was meant to be looking at, which was clear on his face. Tony walked over and nipped at the arm of his jacket instructing him where to go.Tony led Nick closer to the other side of the bushes where Tony had beat them down. A dark small crevice, almost like a path between the bushes had appeared, obliviously hidden by the large bushes that had once been there.
