I handed my test into the teacher and she thanked me with a smile.

I smiled back and walked to my desk. The bell was about to ring in ten minutes so I just sat there with my music.

I started playing music through my AirPods on full volume.

I  checked my Instagram for a few minutes and a text from Kahlil popped up. I instantly rolled my eyes.  I really need to take the emojis off his name, he don't deserve them.

I just love how he think shit is sweet. I turned my phone off and just sat there listening to my music.

This nigga then pulls my AirPod out my ear. I was about to spazz on him but the bell finally rung. I took my AirPod back, grabbed my stuff and left.

I walked through the halls and waved at familiar faces. I got to the second building and saw Tiana down the hall.

I walked towards my class, when I got to the door, Tiana stepped in my way. This bitch got some nerve, I had to pause my music.

"Can you move?" I kindly asked.

If she don't move, she better be prepared to get pushed to the ground. I've already fought her before and she knows not to try me again.

"Awww, is little Ja'Nari upset her crush doesn't want her," she said in a mocking tone. "What crush exactly?"

"Kahlil, he wants me. Stay away from him and we won't have any problems." "Can you get o-"

"I don't want you Tiana," Kahlil said cutting me off. I let out a small laugh. "Okay so Sunday meant nothing?" Tiana asked him.

"Can you move? The bell is about to ring."

She walked away to her class with her head down. Aww, that man done broke her spirit.

2:00 p.m.

Everyone was waiting at the door since we had five minutes left. "What's the word?" Amia asked.

"Y'all wanna go to the mall? Lamonte's party is tonight and we can get some clothes," I said.

Everyone nodded their head yes.

The bell rung and everyone made their way to the student parking lot and buses. We got into our separate cars like we usually do and we pulled off from school.

"Girl I'ma need you to get out your feelings because this ain't it. We bout to go to mall, get these clothes and enjoy ourselves." Kacey blurted out.
