We greeted the other Crown Princes, and Prince Oliver had immediately recognized me.
"Pastry cutie!" He grinned as he gently kissed my hand. "What a pleasant to see you here."
I felt my cheeks burn a bit.
"P-Prince Oliver," I bowed respectfully. "It's nice to see you again too." I looked at the other Crown Princes. "All of you," I quickly added.
While Prince Ivan went around to greet the other guests, I stayed with the other Crown Princes.
"You clean up pretty good." Prince Seig commented as he took a sip of his glass of red wine.
Prince Oliver and Prince Hayden gave him looks of disapproval, but Prince Seig obviously didn't care.
"I'll take that as a compliment, I think."
Prince Kuon laughed. "I don't think it was anything, more like an observation."
Prince Oliver rolled his eyes.
"What these two are trying to say, especially Seig, is that you look lovely in that dress."
"Yes," Prince Hayden agreed. "I almost didn't recognize you."
"Really," I tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear absentmindedly.
Prince Hayden nodded.
When Prince Ivan came back, music began to play, which qeued most people to partner up and dance.
Even a few of the Crown Princes had began to pair up.
"Shall we dance?" Prince Ivan asked.
"Uh-- well-- I..." Why was I stuttering? I could dance, a little, and besides. I had already danced with Prince Ivan many times. Why am I getting all flustered now?
Prince Ivan smirked.
He gently took my hand and led us to the dance floor.
"That color suits you," He said as he led our dance naturally.
I had the urge to look down at my dress, but I didn't.
"Thank you," I said instead as my cheeks slightly burned a bit.
We danced some more before Prince Ivan had to change dance partners, as requested by Mikhail.
Prince Ivan didn't look pleased to do that, but he knew that he had to. He was a Crown Prince after all.
I stayed close to the other Crown Princes as I drank some wine.
When I was almost finished with my first glass, Prince Oliver appeared next to me.
"You've been alone for quite some time." He teased.
I shrugged. "Eh, is there a problem with being alone?"
"No," He laughed before suddenly getting serious, "but this does give me the chance to steal a dance from you."
I shook my head as I refrained myself from an eyeroll.
"All right," I set my now empty glass of wine down on a nearby table, "but just one dance. That's all the dances that you can steal from me."
Boy, was I tipsy, because I would have never said that if I wasn't.
Prince Oliver laughed as he led us to the dance floor.
"One dance is all I need." He said as he began to lead the dance.
It felt nice to dance after being alone for a while. However, I was beginning to feel a little dizzy.
Maybe because the pace of the song was a lot faster than the other song that I danced to with Prince Ivan.
