I watched Scott anxiously, hearing his heartbeat becoming slightly erratic from anger. Nobody on the team was passing to him, and we all knew who made that call. The team captain, Jackson Whittemore.
"McCall! Pass to McCall!" Coach yelled, groaning loudly when they didn't.
His voice went right through me as he talked to Stiles in front of the bench where i was sat. Behind me a couple of rows, Allison and Isabelle were sat with their father and Lydia. The redhead was being an obnoxiously supportive girlfriend by holding up a banner, forcing Allison to help her.

The game was intense as Scott got the ball, his animal instincts taking over.
"Scott, come on" I whispered, Stiles turning to look at me to see what to do.
He seemed to get a grip as i heard Allison cheering him on quietly. She was clearly his rock, his anchor. She was the key. He scored the goal, his animal side calming. Everyone stood up and cheered as the ball hit the net. Stiles turned and tackled me in a hug, crushing my bones. Everyone went to congratulate the lacrosse team as Stiles collapse on the bench.
"He did it" I whispered, sitting next to Stiles with a smile.
Isabelle came up to the bench, clearly not wanting to go to the mass of sweaty lacrosse players.
"I'm shocked he did it" Isabelle commented as Stiles looked up.
"Wait, you know?" Stiles asked, sitting up fast.
His leg was still bouncing up and down from nerves, his face still as pale as a ghost.
"Yeah. Don't worry, i'm not gonna shoot anyone" She said, raising her hands in mock surrender.
Stiles sighed in relief as i stood and beckoned Izzy away from the nervous wreck that was my friend.

"Enjoy the game?" I asked, tilting my head slightly.
"Yeah. You could've came and sat with us, you know? My dad wouldn't kill you" Izzy said as i bit my lip nervously.
"It's fine, Stiles talked to me a lot. Plus, you're dad kinda hates me" I shrugged, the fact not bothering me too much.
"Well...yeah. I'm not gonna sugar coat it. But i like you so it doesn't matter" She waved off as i smiled, my heart skipping a beat.
She blushed, realising what she said and averting her gaze. Before we could talk anymore, i watched Stiles run off high speed towards the locker rooms.
"I should...go see what that was" I said, smiling apologetically.
She nodded as i sighed, feeling bad i had to bail on her again for Scott and Stiles.

"And then what? You killed her?" Stiles asked as he helped me out the back of his jeep.
"I don't know. I woke up. I was sweating like crazy and I couldn't breathe. I've never had a dream where I woke up like that" Scott carried on as we walked into school.
"I have. But it usually ends a little differently" Stiles stated nonchalantly as i pulled a disgusted face.

"Ew, no. I don't need that image" I whined, shaking my head as Stiles shrugs at his innuendo.
"A: I meant I've never had a dream that felt that real. And B: never give us that much detail about you in bed ever again" Scott agrees with me in disgust.
"Noted," Stiles began, "But i'm going to take a guess here-"
Scott groaned, cutting off Stiles.
"I know. You think it has something to do with me going out with Allison tomorrow. Like i'm afraid i'm going to lose control and rip her throat out" Scott explained.
Myself and Stiles made eye contact, as if that was the most obvious thing in the world.
"No, of course not," Stiles defended as i gave him a look, "yeah that's totally it"
"It is a possibility" I carried on as Scott huffed in annoyance.

"It's going to be okay. Personally,I think you're handling this prettyfricking amazingly. It's not like there's a Lycanthropy for Beginners Class you can take" Stiles carried on as i nodded in agreement.
"You're handling it well" I carried on, reassuring the teen.
"Not a class, maybe a teacher" Scott mumbled as Stiles started protesting.
"Who? Derek? You forgetting the part where we threw him in jail?" Stiles said as i spun to a halt in the corridor.
"You got my brother arrested?" I asked as the pair's eyes widened.
"He murdered your sister, we found the body!" Stiles said quite loudly before Scott put a hand over his month and hushed him.
I glared at the idiots, knowing now why they were being so weird and sneaking off.
"No he didn't, you idiots! He just buried her already dead body. She was killed by hunters" I said punching their arms, Stiles groaning in immense pain as Scott just flintched.
"So he's not a murderer?" Scott asked, paling slightly.
"No. You didn't think to consult before snooping around my old house?" I questioned.

"We thought you'd be upset. Still, he's shady. We've got a teacher right here" Stiles exclaimed, waving his arms around in my direction.
"I can't teach you. I can barely do it myself. My brother may be shady, but he's better to ask then me" i denied.
"Exactly. Look, all of it -chasing her,  dragging her onto the bus - it felt so real" Scott said.
"How real?" I asked, frowning slightly.
"Like it actually happened"
"I think it did..." Stiles trailed off as we walked out the double doors, spotting police surrounding a bus covered in blood.

:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

"Dreams aren't memories" Stiles defended as we sat at an empty lunch table, looking to me for support.
If Scott panicked and his heart rate went up whilst we were in school, it could mean that he could turn and attack someone. Thankfully, the person in the bus wasn't Allison. And the person was alive.
"Then it wasn't a dream. Something happened last night. And i can't remember what" Scott sighed, putting his head in his hands.
"It is possible you could've blacked out. Adrenaline rush from the full moon" I offered, Stiles giving me a 'you're not helping' look.
"How are you so sure Derek has all the answers?" Stiles asked, steering the subject away from the attack.
"Because on the full moon he wasn't changed. He was in total control. And I'm running around in the night attacking some totally innocent guy" Scott replied.
"Neither was Nat," Stiles began as i shook my head, "but you don't know that"

The pair carried on arguing in hushed whispered as i blanked out, ignoring them. We were going round in circles. I was brought out of my thoughts by Lydia and Isabelle sitting down with us. Izzy sat down next to me, smiling warmly as Stiles looked shocked at Lydia.
"Why is she sitting with us?" Stiles whispered to me as i shrugged.
Eventually, Allison came over and sat next to Scott. Something had clearly happened between them two, they were looking at each other much more lovingly. Another girl who i couldn't place the name of sat next to Stiles as Danny sat on the other side. Stiles sent a smile to the girl who rolled her eyes. Stiles turned his smile to Danny.
"In your dreams" He responded as i laughed, more lacrosse players coming over.
Stiles responded with a glare before Jackson walked over.
"Get up" He sneered to a teammate.
"How come you never ask Danny to get up?" The boy responded.
"Because i don't stare at his girlfriend's coin slot" Danny responded as the teammate got flustered then stood up.

Jackson sat down, Isabelle's eye roll not going unnoticed by me. They started talking about the attack, which they thought was a mountain lion.
"So, who was it?" Isabelle whispered, shocking me at her close proximity.
"We don't know yet" i responded, blushing slightly.
I listening halfheartedly to the conversation, which i could narrowly tell was about Scott and Allison's date and Lydia and Jackson crashing it. Which seemed completely fun. You wouldn't catch me there.
