The tree

Come to the tree with me,

It's somewhere I feel free,

Where my mind stops it's taunts,

It's where my demons no longer haunt,

I can think there,

My thoughts all laid bare,

It's my escape,

Where I can lay awake and await,

My fate and destiny,

Of a coffin in ebony,

Roses litter the lid,

While people wonder what I did.
