oc introduction | so, obviously you already know who the canon characters are - but since yumeko is one of the main characters in this story, it would be useful to explain her and her quirk.

yumeko nakashima pro hero: purgatory | | quirk: half demon, half goddess. yumeko's quirk is incredibly powerful. she inherited both quirks from her parents. the demon strand of her quirk causes black markings to appear on her body, which she can move around at will, making her able to morph her limbs into weapons or even wings. the black markings can also heal serious injuries, and can reattach body parts that she loses if quick enough. as well as this, yumeko can use her quirk to produce black flames from the markings on her body and project them at her opponent. the goddess strand of her quirk gives her a white ring symbol on her forehead, and makes her able to produce a bright white beam from her palms resembling the look of burning magnesium. when it comes into contact with skin, can leave severe burns and is so bright that concentration on the light for too long can damage the eyes. she calls this ability "ark." the goddess quirk also comes with a druid-like ability, giving her the ability to heal physical injuries on others.
drawbacks yumeko is unable to use both sides of the quirk at once. the imbalance of their origin could do serious damage to her physical health, even making it so she can't use her quirk again. using her demon quirk too much for extended periods of time can cause the ability to take over her body, causing her to go into something called 'assault mode' - where her consciousness is pushed down and she shows no sign of humanity. she fights on impulse and is unresponsive to what anyone else says to her - she attacks her opponent ruthlessly and cannot be snapped out of assault mode without taking life-threatening damage. the black flames yumeko produces can't be in effect for long periods of time, or they begin to damage her skin. she has scars on her shoulders from quirk overuse. the light emitted from her "ark" poses a threat to herself, as well as others. her eyes aren't as sensitive to the brightness, making her unable to feel damage that the light does to her eyes straight away - because of this, she has a set time limit on "ark" of 1minute and will use it once every battle - but only if absolutely necessary due to its severity. as well as this, using "ark" for too long burns her palms, and she has scars on them because if overusing it.

yumeko when using her goddess ability | | age 22 | | brief backstory yumeko only remembers her parents vaguely. she was given to the commission shortly after her quirk manifested due to her parents' fear of what she would become. they didn't expect her to inherit both quirks and feared her once they discovered that she did. the commission is where she met her friends touya todoroki and keigo takami. they quickly became inseparable and grew up together, learning how to master their quirks and become powerful pro heroes together. even presently, they remain somewhat friends, although herself and keigo are on the opposite side to touya, who became a villain and dubbed himself "dabi."
