Chapter 7

Applejacks POV

I woke up panicking, I quickly glanced over at my clock. 4:30 am?! Why is it so early. Anyways today is the day Rainbow comes home, and she'll be spending her week here so she doesn't do anything stupid of course.

I grab my phone off the night stand and  go into my contacts, I dial Rainbows fathers number.

Bh: Hello? Applejack?

Aj: Heya Bow hothoof, Ah just wanted to ask you and your wife something important.

Bh: oh yeah sure, what's that Applejack?

Aj: so uh... ah was just wondering if Rainbow could spend a week with me at my place.

Bh: oh eh- if she wants then sure. What could possibly go wrong? Yes she can, the doctor called she's leaving at 6:00 am.

Aj: okay! That gives me enough time to get ready.

Bh: okay. Great!

Aj: Mkay, thank yah Mr.Bow HotHoof. Goodbye!

Bh: bye Applejack

Then I hung up. I immediately got out of bed knowing it was now 4:40 am and I need to get out of the house by 5:30 I rushed in the bathroom to get a quick shower, and brush my teeth. After I got out of the shower I brushed my hair and got dressed. I put on my everyday clothes and then my Stetson and boots, and walked out of the door. It was already 5:20, and I can't wait to pick up my girlfriend. Once I got in the car I put on my favourite song When it rains lit pours by Luke Combs. Then began to drive to the hospital to pick up my beautiful girlfriend, suddenly a thought just came to mind.. what about those cuts? I thought to myself, I needed to know why she had those scars.

Suddenly before I knew it I arrived at the hospital to get my beautiful girlfriend. I walked in the hospital and the girl recognized me and led me straight to Rainbows room.

Aj: " Thanks you miss! " I thanked the lady after she brought me to Rainbows room. She just continued her way back  to her front desk which made me a little confused. But anyways I walked into her room to see her looking into a mirror looking at what she was wearing  in my opinion she looked beautiful. " heya babe. " I walked up to her and placed my hands on her waist while resting my chin on her shoulder looking into the mirror smiling and the sight of the both of us.

Rd: " Hey Aj. " she replied while turning to face to me, I stared into her beautiful magenta eyes and gave her a warm smile, and she did the same. After a while of staring into each other's eyes I leaned in and kissed her, she kissed back, we started to kiss passionately.

Rainbow was the first to pull away from the kiss, she just smiled after and then walked away from me to get her bags, I just started to admire everything about her once again, she was the most beautiful girls I've ever laid my eyes on. Suddenly a thought came into my mind those cuts.. I decided to confront her, but not right now. I will after, she's been through a lot lately and I don't want her to go and do something stupid.

Once Rainbow was done getting all her stuff ready I walked to the door and opened it for her she just walks out not a word from her. I just let it go and follow behind her, I keep on thinking to myself and asking myself questions about those cuts. Suddenly we made it to the waiting room and waited for the doctor that was supposed to give me pills for Rainbow. Then we heard a door open " Rainbow Dash! " a women said, so we got up off our chairs and walked towards the voice and went inside the room. Rainbow sat on their bed and just looked around the room, she looked nervous. I always knew Rainbow Dash wasn't a fan of the hospital suddenly the door opened and doctor walked in.

D: " okay, Miss Dash. Let's see what we got here " he said while inspecting my girlfriend this made Rainbow even more uncomfortable, and I didn't like how he was looking around her.

Rd: " Hey! Watch it. " Rainbow called out the doctor after he touched the side of her head, she quickly shoved his hands away while rubbing the sore spot.

D: " sorry honey. Miss Apple, can I talk to you? In the hall. " he calmly asked me making his way to the door, I followed after him and just stood in the hall.

Aj: " okay.. what is it? "

D: " Well.. Rainbow needs to have these pills everyday, and here are some cotton balls and salt water, if she starts bleeding put salt water on a cotton ball and dab the bleeding wound, okay? " he handed me a bag of cotton balls and a little thing filled with salt water. I took them and nodded at the rest of his words, I soon then walked in the room to get Rainbow and bring her back to my place.

I opened the door and walked in, I walked into her changing her shirt, I was slightly confused in why she was changing it. Because in my opinion she looked amazing and didn't need it to be changed.

Aj: " Rainbow? Why are ya changin' yer shirt? "

Rd: " I- " she started, she looked back at me, I could tell she was worried I could see it through her magenta eyes I just didn't know why she would be worried. " I'm cold! Yeah- " she finished after thinking of what to say. I knew she was lying, I just didn't want to say anything mainly because I didn't wanna start anything between us.

Aj: " okay- but why not just pop on a sweater or somethin' ? " I questioned her while holding the shirt she was about to put on by the sleeves. She pulled it away and used to shirt to cover her half naked torso.

Rd: " well.. I don't have any sweaters. Yeah! "

Aj: " really. " I sarcastically said while holding one of her sweaters up, this only made her more nervous. I couldn't bare to watch my lover so scared so I dropped it " okay okay- ah'll stop. You look beautiful in anything to be honest. " I added, walking up to Rainbow and putting my hands on her bare waist and leaned in to give her a passionate kiss.

Rd: " thank you babe, but really. I need to get changed, again. " she pulled from the kiss and put on the shirt. She took a brush from off the night stand by the hospital bed and began brushing her tangled rainbow hair, I just walked over to her and putting my hands back on her waist and rested my chin on her shoulder, we started staring at our reflections in the mirror. " Ah can't wait for our future. " I told her while looking at her kissing her cheek.

Rd: " yeah, same. " she giggled, walking off she put on her shoes and walked towards the door. " let's head home now. I hate the smell of hospitals and doctors! " she added storming out of the door, I chuckled at my lovers behaviour and followed her home..

Now to get home...
