"I am."
Sam whispers gently into my ear, he then backs away from me. My face left wide eyed and probably as rosy as my dress. I don't know how I was supposed to react, but the way I did was out of my control. I pushed away from the railing and ran for the door.
My mind fuzzy. It's not like I'm mad, I don't know how I feel actually. I just want to go home. I clumsily push my way back down two floors, it's like a maze in here, but somehow I find my way back to where I last saw Abby. The same three girls are still there, but now surrounded by men. I tap on of their shoulders, the girl turns around drunkly. I ask,
"Do you know where Abby went..? The girl in the pink dress."
She stares at me for an awkwardly long time then laughs and points to a small hall. I thank her and run to it, Abby is sitting on the floor in the bathroom. She's drunk. I shut the door behind myself and hold up her hair, she pushes me away and mumbles,
"I'm fine, I'm fine."
I blurt out,
"We need to go home. I can drive, give me your keys."
Even though I don't have my license I know how to drive, it will be safer then Abby trying to. Abby puts her hand in my shoulder,
"Roooose~"
I raise an eyebrow at her. She leans closer,
"You're so pretty."
She giggles in my ear, as I am about to ask her for her keys she grabs by face. Abby pulls herself into my face and gives me a sloppy kiss, my eyes wide open. I push her away with a hand shyly over my mouth,
"W-what are you doing?"
Abby let's go of me, she starts to yell,
"You're so stupid! Just leave!"
I stutter back,
"N-no, you're drunk."
She shoves me, then slaps my face clumsily. I bring my hand up to my face in pain. At the top of her lungs she screams,
"Get the Hell out, I don't want to see your ugly face!"
I tear up, looking into Abbys angry eyes. I run out of the bathroom, people turn to stare at me. Which makes me feel even more panicked. I run out the large doors of the mansion. It's late into the night, even I feel tired. I sit down on the first stair step to the far corner, putting my hands over my eyes. This is too much, I just want to go home. I sit there for hours trying to calm down, people passing me to leave. Person after person leaves, not one taking note of me. People laugh as they drunkly pass by, stumbling as they walk to their cars.
I finally reach into my purse for my phone to call my mom. I become panicked all over again as I can't seem to find it. It then hits me, Sam still has my phone. I look up to see if there is anyone I could ask for a ride, the driveway is empty, the last car pulling out. Shit. My face falls back into my hands. I've never been in a situation like this, I have no way to get home. It feels so unreal I can't even process what to do. I hear footsteps behind me.
"Hey."
I don't need to turn to see who it is, I'd recognize Sams calming voice anywhere.
"I need to text my mom, can I have my phone back?"
Sam ignores what I say and instead he holds out his hand to help me up. I glare up into his slender eyes. Even though I am stressed and confused I still find comfort in his presence. I take his hand. Sam talks softly to me,
"We should talk, Rose."
The way he says my name makes me blush slightly. It sounds so natural in his mouth, like he was meant to say my name. I nod and he leads me inside. The house is silent, it seems like I am in another dimension. Sam leads me down elegant stares  to a door made of medal, he types in a code and uses his fingerprint to open the door. I hear gears spin as the door slowly opens I look around in amazement, I've never seen anything like this. Inside the large room is high tech equipment, it looks futuristic. As I step inside the room with Sam the door closes behind us.
Sam claps his hands, making more lights turn on, I jump slightly once I notice three men and a woman sitting in the far corner. They stand up, glaring at me to Sam. Finally the woman speaks, her voice cold and serious,
"So this is the girl you stupidly outed us to."
She walks towards us. She's wearing a suit that's fitted to her slender body, her skin a beautiful chocolate brown. Sam steps in front of me and calmly introduces the woman,
"Rose, this is Lola. Lola this is Rose, be nice to her-"
The three men walk over beside Lola, I recognize them. The other men from the boat .
"-and this is James, Aero, and Max."
James walks over to me and shakes my hand with a welcoming smile. He is about the same height as me, his dark green eyes look me up and down. Aero and Max just stand by Lola and look at me with judgment in their eyes. The two boys look extremely similar, their hair a golden blonde with honey brown eyes to match. I assume they are twins. Aeros looks to Sam and speaks with anger,
"What do we do with her now, you know no one can know about what we do. Who we are."
Lola smirks at them with approval, then joins in,
"I get you wanna get in her pants, or more like slutty little dress, but you can't be that much of a dumb ass."
I can't control myself anymore, I stomp in front of Sam and up to Lolas face. I glare down at her , yelling in her face,
"I am not some stupid slut. I am Sams friend, I would never do anything to hurt him after all he has done for me. So how about you keep your little mouth shut, okay?"
I hear Sam burst into laughter, which makes me look over to him in confusion. He can barely keep himself standing. He tries to explain through his laughter,
"T-that was so cute, I've never seen you so angry!"
Lola joins in,
"I think I like this one."
