Shoto wasn't particularly surpised when he got the call early in the morning. It was actually more of a usual experience than anything, so when he was awoken at 4:37 AM by his phone vibrating on the nightstand next to the bed, it didn't cause any type of concern to him. So as he did almost every morning, he reached over and picked up his phone.

"Shoto, we have something new." the voice, which he recognized as his boss, from the other line said.
"What is it?" he asked, his voice was slow and his vision foggy from the few hours of sleep he had been lucky enough to catch.
"Well, we have him." The voice explained.
Shoto sat up quickly as his brain processed the words. "You--"
"Yes."
"How?"
"He, well, he handed himself in." The voice said, unsure, but words clear and crisp.
"What?" Shoto tilted his head to the side naturally in confusion.
"He walked into a police station at about--" The click of a pen and papers being moved were heard from the other line. Shoto assumed it was a case file his boss was flipping through. "-- 2:53 this morning. Which is one of the reasons why I'm calling you. He refuses to talk to anyone else, besides asking to speak with you."
Shoto let out a choked breath before answering, "He- what?"
"He says he will only speak to you."

So maybe that's how Shoto was in this situation; being debriefed on everything they know about the man they currently have in custody at 5 in the morning. His boss handed him a file labeled as: Bakugou. Katsuki.
Shoto sucked in a breath and looked down at the folder in his hands, then at the door infront of him. Behind this dark blue, metal door, was the man he had been trying to catch for the past three years. The past three years, his brain repeated over and over, and he just gave himself up?
He took another sharp breath before stepping forward and reaching his hand out. He gripped ths handle and twisted it with a click, then pushed the door open.
Sitting at the wide grey table, was none other than Katsuki Bakugou. The greatest villain, Shoto would have to admit he'd ever been sent to capture.
Katsuki looked up at him as a small grin formed at the corners of his mouth. He leaned back in his chair, his actions being followed by clinking of chains. Shoto walked over to the table and pulled the chair back, then sat down and faced Katsuki. He set the folder down on the table and opened it.
"So, Bak-" Shoto started, but was interrupted by a hand slamming on the table. He looked up and saw Katsuki with his hand palm-down on the table.
"Call me Katsuki." he ordered and leaned back in his chair again.
"Okay then, Katsuki, why would you give yourself up?" Shoto asked.
"What? Did you not want me to?" Katsuki questioned back and crossed his arms.
"Well- no, but, answer my question Katsuki."
"You're no fun." Katsuki's grin widened.
"And you're in no position to be asking questions. But MAYBE I'll answer yours if you first answer mine." Shoto commented.
"Fine."
"Fine."
Shoto sighed and looked down at the open folder infront of him. "We don't know much about you."
"I pride myself in that."
"You seem to pride yourself in a lot of things, from what I've seen."
"Ah. So you watch me? Sounds kinda creepy, don't ya think?" Katsuki leaned forward  slightly.
