As well as in an interview, "I love Press Your Number for one major reason, Hyung asked me if I'd be his cheerleader for this and I said I'd do it with pleasure. Please a Taemin song and I get to be best friend cheerleader? I'll do it for free and enjoy seeing him get all flustered. I have ways to do that. Although Sammy has barely mentioned why EXO is in his playlist he did hint at a collaboration with EXO's Kai and Baekhyun on Sammy's next solo album. Which he teased would be in June of 2020. Close to Stray Kids' comeback. He also hinted at a collaboration with Taemin of SHINee.

MC: Why did you add Monster by EXO to your playlist?
Sammy: Oh well I like the song and I may or may not have been working with them.
MC: Can you give us more details?
Sammy: I also may or may not be having a solo comeback...

"This song is just so heartfelt and beautiful. Every time I listen to it I get so melancholy. I also just in general love Bruno Mars' songs. Have been listening to Bruno Mars since I was young. Or well younger. 2010 was when he first debuted? Is that what people call it. I've been in the KPop industry for too long. I don't even know what they call it in America when a singer comes into the industry.... is it a debut? Like- ANYWAYS! I got off topic! I LOVE BRUNO MARS! 🥰"
