Chapter 9: Hospital

August POV

As I texted Chris the plan on how to get LaLa back, I heard the front door opened. I quickly grabbed my gun and crept down the stairs. I saw a human shadow in the kitchen. I tipptoed across the dining room and into the kitchen. At that moment, I was completely frozen. There stood LaLa. She quickly spun around and a huge smile appeared on her face. I ran up to her and picked her up.

Me: LALA! HOW DID YOU ESCAPE?!

Lala: I didnt have to. Ja took me back home.

Me: Really? That's surprising considering that we are talking about Crip.

Lala: Yea i know. But anywho, what you want for dinner?

Me: I'll order some pizza.

Lala: Okay. Imma go take a shower. brb

As she ran up the stairs, I was trying to figure out why Crip set her free. He probably is gonna try and come back for me. But let me not sweat it. All I know is that if this dude try to roll up on me, it aint gon' end good. I walked over to the kitchen and pulled out an extra Pizza Castle menu that we keep just in case we want to order.

Pizza Castle Person: Hello, My name is Ariel Brooker. Would you like to try our new and improved Shrimp Scampi?

Me; Ummm... No thanks.

Ariel: Okay, how may I help you today?

Me: I would like to place a delivery

Ariel: Okay what is your address and telephone number

Me: My address is 25 Anchor Ave. And my phone number is 424-587-6220

Ariel: Alright and what would you like today?

Me: I would like a large pizza. Half cheese and half bacon.

Ariel: Okay and what would you like to drink?

Me: Ummmmm..... Sprite

Ariel: Okay your total is $20.82. Would you like to pay by cash or card?

Me: Cash

Ariel: Okay. Your meal will arrive in 45 minutes- 1 hour. Thank you for ordering from Pizza Castle. Bye!

Now that I got the food order, I went to my bedroom and plopped on the bed. When I clicked on the TV, Madea was playing so I decided to watch it. As I laughed at the movie, Lala came out the master bathroom with her towel wrapped around her body. She was still wet and knew that turned me on. She went into the closet and  walked out with one of my shirts. After she was done changing, she climbed into the bed with me and we watched the movie together. Lord knows that i love this girl. She is my heart, my queen, my everything. Nothing will ever make me stop loving and wanting her. I want to propose to her but I just dont know the right time. She that type of woman that you KNOW you wanna start a family with. That woman you KNOW you wanna grow old with. The one you KNOW you can die for. She is my world.

Suddenly, I felt a delicate kiss on my cheek. I looked down at Lala and gazed into her beautiful eyes. This girl got some gorgeous eyes.

Aug: Why you so damn gorgeous?

I love to make her blush. She giggled and tucked her head away into my chest.

Aug: Baby, you know I hate when you do that. Don't hide your blushing.

Lala: Okay.

Aug: I love you Ny'Ari.

Lala: I love you too August

Because we were both tired,  I turned off the tv and wrapped my arms around her tiny waist. Soon, we both drifted off to sleep, totally forgetting about the food we ordered.
