a new exchange student from ireland arrives at your school. your brother, finn hudson, has a little chat with him during free period. he tells you about the boy and how he thinks you guys could be friends; and what turns out to be more.
you shut the door to your home and set your books on your desk. once set down, you plop onto your bed, smiling. later tonight you were facetiming rory to discuss your duet for glee club.
after resting and playing on your phone for a few minutes in bed, you chose to get your homework over with so you could have all your focus on rory and the duet - mostly rory.

you finish the last question of your final math page, and smile. you check the time- 6pm. just the time you and rory chose to call.
you nervously entered his number and added his contact into your phone as "rory🍀". you then went to facetime and searched him up, and pressed the call button. you nervously set your phone up on your desk, and sit back in your chair. you look at yourself in the camera, thankfully you didn't look too bad. you fix your hair a bit before he picks up.
you hear the connecting noise, and you look up from your desk to see a smiling rory. "hey y/n" you smile back at him, letting out a little giggle. "hello leprechaun" he rolls his eyes at the nickname, and bites the cap off his pen.
my god he looked so attractive when he did that.
rory decided to make small talk. he asked you your favorite color, eye color, song, movie, tv show, word, fictional character, series, etc. you talked for hours before realizing what the time was. you realized rory's favorite color was green, he likes the tv show friends and ratatouille. he also has green eyes and he likes the elf that makes cookies in the tree.
he made you laugh a ton. telling corny jokes were for sure his thing. you laughed because it was just the two of you, and he's always funny. he made funny faces, and even showed you his fluffy dog.
you talked about songs you wanted to do for glee. you chose to fit a romance theme. you chose to sing stereo hearts by gym class heroes. you had 3 days to practice for the duet, since the contest was friday.
you chose to practice choreography tomorrow at your house, since your parents weren't home until next sunday. they'd totally judge you for having a boy over, and especially since you had somewhat feelings for rory, they'd make you blush too hard and embarrass you in front of him.
for the rest of the night, you two laid in bed and had your phones set up on the nightstands next to your beds. you two joked and laughed for the next hour or so. before you knew it, it was 11:30. you noticed rory was a bit quiet. you lifted the blanket off your face to see him asleep with his dog in his arms.

you smiled to yourself, and hung up so he could sleep peacefully, as you didn't want to wake him. you texted him- "goodnight leprechaun- you fell asleep on call. sleep well :)"
