Robert woke up to the annoying beeping of his alarm clock, exactly at 5:35 a.m. He knew he had to wake up now or he would not make it to work, but something held him back. He felt an unusual need to rest just a bit longer. He felt so tired despite not doing anything too stressful or demanding the day before, but he decided it must be since it was Monday. He hated Monday’s. He snapped the alarm off with a fierce slap, and slowly stood up and got ready for work. After brushing his teeth, having breakfast and dressing up, he was ready for another laborious day.
It was 5:55, he should leave soon. As he was opening the front door, the feeling that something horribly wrong was about to happen made him hesitate to twist the knob, but he pushed the thought away and hurried to his car. He was in such a hurry that he didn’t notice something was indeed very wrong.
When he inserted the key in his car, he saw trough the glass a gruesome scene. there was another person sitting in his car’s back seat, a beautiful woman, what’s the problem with that you may ask? Well, she’s dead. Robert could not believe what he saw, he took a quick glance around for evidence of what might have happened, but he found nothing. He looked up at the sky, mesmerized with what was happening, but the sky didn’t give him the reassuring hope that he was looking for. The sky was a dark shade of red, the same tone of blood, that couldn’t be a good sign, could it?
Robert was starting to doubt his sanity, but that came back as he checked the girl’s body because it felt as real as ever. That blondie was his neighbor, miranda, and it devastated him seeing her body so lifeless. He decided to go to miranda’s house and look for clues to solve this case, work could wait.
