Another death, another game ended another coming but I don't have time to worry...I start packing rushing to go to the woods hide there during the choosing ceremony ,The choosing ceremony a cruel system that randomly chooses one person from the 12 districts. No one gets spared no matter what your age or gender. Everyone's horrified, transforms to a savage trying to steal everyone's rations , resources , weapons ,No hope, No courage none. As I packed my last stack of clothes, I noticed that I don't have the most important resource of all. Water you can survive for such a short time with water. The lake of course! I grabbed my bag full of my survival essential took my dagger that's been sharpened twice everyday it was a gift from someone I forgot who but I kept this dagger as it was my only weapon then and now it still is my last defence. I grabbed my bottle and filled it full . I thought about the last choosing ceremony I was in the woods struggling to survive, I remembered the weight of this bottle pushing my bag down making it harder for me to take a step. As I was closing the lid of the drink bottle.I caught a glimpse of someone's reflection behind me I quickly rolled to the side grabbed my dagger and hold it in front of me . A boy? Why doesn't he have a weapon? I held up my dagger and slowly walked back to grab my bag. Someone's footsteps I got my bag and scattered and returned to my house, don't live with anyone just me in this shaggy messy abandoned shed or at least I'm pretty sure it is the first time I discovered this there were nails all over the place

some dried paint and dead rats, took the nails reused them made a cabinet some shelves and fixed some damages and cleaned the dirty shed, removed the dead rats.

I collected leave, some I weaved to place at the corners to stop the wind and some I layer on the floor so it's not always cold, I decided to leave the outdoors as is so people won't get suspicious and search the shed. Not much but it's what I got at least I can take some rest here I never stay in one place for more than one week when The Choosing ceremony started. I stared at the house then dashed to the woods. The bell rang ...it has started. I better hurry before the guards come.
