Sunshine and Warmth!~Hinata

"Hey, Y/N! Wait up for me!"

You turn around to see Hinata Shouyou, your friend since middle school/junior high. You two lived a couple of blocks away. You both usually walk to school together, but you didn't see him at the usual meeting spot: a giant sakura blossom tree in the local park. You assumed he was sick and stayed home, it turns out he was just late! 

"Shouyou! There you are," you smiled at him. You stopped and waited for him to catch up to you.

"I finally caught up to you, sorry for running a bit late!" He gleamed at you. You couldn't help but feel your heart flutter. Oh yeah, forget to mention that you definitely have a crush on him. How could you not? He was like... a little ray of sunshine, radiating with warmth! He was the first to approach you when you both first met. You were sitting at your seat and feeling a little down. You had just gotten a poor grade on your exam and were nervous to tell your parents about it. The world seemed doom and gloom, but Shouyou came over and brought light. 

He has always been there to make brighten your days and bring you out of your comfort zone. You always have a good time when you're with him! Sometimes it seems as if Hinata has no idea how much he really impacted your life. You wish to show him how much he means to you.

The two of you walked and talked to your class. It was the usual, grades and volleyball! You would go over to his house and practice with him, even though you were a total noob! He was happy to share his passion with you though. You guys had reached your class: 1-5.

"Alright, have a good a day Y/N!" He smiled brightly and held both of his hands up for high fives. You giggled and high fived him back, only that you ended up interlacing your hands. They were soft. You didn't realize until after the fact what you had done! Hinata is slowly turning pink and is staring at your guys' hands. You let go.

"Sorry about that Shouyou," you apologize. He kinda stands there for a moment. The bell rings. Hinata snaps out of his daze. He shakes his head and says his goodbyes. He dashes down the hall so he won't be late. Something fell from his backpack. A good luck charm. Wait, it looked familiar... Oh, this is a good luck charm you gave to him before his match against Shiratowizawa. That was a while ago, he still has it? 

"How cute..." You mutter to yourself and grin. You decide that you'll give it back to him right before his practice. You enter your class and settle into your seat. 

"Y/N, what is that in your hand?" Yachi, your seatmate, asked you. You two had also gotten pretty close since the school year started! She's aware of your crush on Hinata since she is one of the team managers. You try to hide it but what's the point, she's already seen it. "Wait... that looks like the good luck charm Hinata had a while ago! He told me that somebody special to him made it and that he'd keep it for all of his matches..." You nervously looked at her, and then the spark lit in her eyes. "You're that special someone!" She exclaimed. You tried to hush her. Class started. She kept giving you exciting looks throughout the class. You were flustered at the thought that Hinata referred to you as somebody special to him. You put your head down to hide your face. The day dragged on but it finally ended.

"Come on Y/N! Let's go give that charm to Hinata now!" Yachi beamed. She dragged you to the gymnasium, you were a bit nervous! She opened the doors and led you inside, but a magnificent sight caught your eyes. Hinata was mid-air, flawless form. His back was slightly arched, his knees bent, one arm was stretched out forward while the other was wound back. Kageyama had set him a ball for warm-ups, but it was almost like they were in a game ready to score the final point. Time had stopped for that one moment. The sun from the gymnasium windows illuminated his body. It took away your breath. Your heart began to beat faster than ever.
