I am a natural disaster,
let me wreck myself on your rocky shores,
be my lighthouse and guide me to ruin,
watch as I sink into the murky sea,
and you wash your memories clean of me,
Forget my sails that traversed oceans,
Feel no remorse for my untimely end,
Splinter my masts and break my hull,
Leave me in pieces, scatter my remains,
Silent and mournful, waiting for peace,
With only the ghosts of my heart to keep near,
I am a natural disaster,
who better to break all that I touch,
who else would destroy the relationship between us,
leave it drowning in the flood,
when the only thing that never ends is the only thing I trust,
I am an endless cycle,
I'll come again and again, the only difference will be,
the where and the when.
