FRIDAY, 18:25London, not feeling pain from the morphine pounded into her hand, watched as Denver screamed at Tokyo, who violated the most important rule of robbery. She shot people. The professor said that if at least one drop of blood was shed, they would immediately turn from Robin Hoods into ordinary bastards. And that happened. Suddenly. When no one suspected that everything could so quickly sink to the bottom.
"I panicked, okay? I just lost my temper." Tokyo said in response to Denver's loud cries, who could not watch Nairobi pull a small bullet from her beloved's shoulder. "They shot back! What would you do, huh? Would spat on them?"
"Anything, Tokyo, but I just wouldn't shoot the fucking cops!
"All you had to do was follow the plan, damn it!" Nairobi exclaimed, bandaging London's right forearm. "We mustn't shoot people!"
"Thank you," London whispered to the dark-haired girl and smiled slightly, slowly pulling a red jumpsuit over her gray T-shirt. She had no strength left, although the robbery had just begun. Denver, covering a short distance from the table to the sofa, squatted near London's head and took her left hand in his, immediately leaving a kiss on the outside of her palm.
"London could have died because of you!" Denver suddenly exclaimed. He absolutely could not restrain his rage, looking at the exhausted beloved. "If only a little, the bullet would be right in her heart or head!"
"But she didn't die!" Tokyo screamed, looking away from Denver to Rio, who was now being treated for a wound on his forehead. Nairobi knew best about medicine, so she considered herself a nurse on their team.
"You're such a bitch ..." Denver hissed, but London squeezed his hand and raised herself, sitting down and leaning on the soft back of the couch. She frowned and looked at Tokyo, who apparently didn't feel guilty.
"If a bullet hits me again because of you, then it's better to pray that I am dead." Said London, clenching her jaw, not taking her evil gaze from Tokyo.
The girl lowered her head down, feeling remorse. Later, she will try to apologize to London, but in the meantime, everyone turned their attention to Berlin, who went into the room and coughed loudly.
"They're taking the wounded cops to the hospital," he announced, staring sternly at Tokyo. "Have you connected the phone? We are switching to an analog system."
Rio laid a red wired home telephone on the table, and Berlin took each earpiece from each and threw it into the aquarium. Turning back to the team, he said:
"Let's call the Professor."
Berlin picked up the phone and leaned against his right ear, waiting for a response from the Professor.
"What happened?" Came the voice of the Professor on the other side.
"Two cops are injured. A bullet also flew into London's shoulder." Berlin replied looking at London, who was sitting on the sofa and nervously tapping the sole of her boot on the floor. Denver sat beside her and hugged the girl tightly around the waist, awaiting further instructions from the Professor.
