He stepped closer. "By your reaction, it looks like you knew her."

Todoroki and Kirishima were staring at me.

I couldn't stop myself. I rushed at the man, hurling blasts of flame at him as I ran. He dodged, and when I was in range, I leaped and brought my leg down on him. 

He reached up and grabbed my leg. I lit it on fire, and he screamed, letting go of me. I landed and rolled onto my feet. 

"You little..." he started, and I punched him hard in the jaw, lighting my hand on fire and ducking. 

My duck worked. He tried to strike at me, thinking I was still standing, but I wasn't that dumb. 

"YOU LITTLE BRAT!!!" He shouted, swinging around, holding his smoking cheek. "WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!?"

"I'm Hikari Kazenikura," I said coldly. "And don't you dare mention my mother ever again."

Suddenly a horrible pain came from my leg, and I gasped out and collapsed. 

The man stared down at me, his eyes narrowed. "I knew I recognized you, brat," he said. "How'd you get the fire? Did Kagami have a secret quirk I didn't know about?"

I grimaced and crawled back away from him. He followed me. 

"Answer me, or I'll break more than just your leg," he said, coming closer. 

"SHUT UP!!!" I shouted, my anger reaching a new level.

Suddenly, my vision went white and I gasped out again as pain filled me. Was I passing out?

When I could see again, the area around me was black. Scorched. I was breathing heavily, and the man was on the ground, bleeding. His clothes had flames flickering along them. There was smoke everywhere, and I could only see a few feet in front of me.

Oh my gosh. Did I do all that? 

"Kazenikura?!" A voice shouted. I weakly glanced over in the direction of the voice. Through the fog appeared Kirishima, coughing and holding his arm up over his face. He saw me and ran over. 

"Are you OK?" he asked. 

I winced. "I-I don't know."

"Oh my gosh," he muttered, kneeling down next to me. "Look."

I looked down and saw my leg. It looked horrible. The skin around it had broken away, revealing blood and tissue. 

"Ew," I managed. 

He looked... angry. "That idiot," he said under his breath. He glanced up at me. "Can you walk?"

I shook my head. "Probably not, unless you help me."

His arm slid around me and hoisted me up. I put weight on my good leg, and nodded. "I can walk if you help. Thank you."

I put my arm around his shoulder, and we began walking out of the smoke. It hurt to put weight on my bad leg, but I wasn't going to complain. 

"Bakugo!" Kirishima shouted. "I found Kazenikura."

We emerged from the smoke and I saw Bakugo and Todoroki standing there. 

"Da**it, I thought you died," Bakugo said. "That would've been good."

"Yeah, good to see you too," I said angrily. 

Todoroki didn't say anything, he just stared at me. 

"Did you make that huge explosion?" Bakugo asked, finally noticing my leg.
