You hadn't lied to your father. You were on your way to the flower shop Smeraldo. There you would find the yarrow and the map that you needed. The flower shop also sold a few touristy things too so that's where a map of the town would be.

Luckily Smeraldo was walking distance but it was about twenty minutes away. The bus stop was closer, but your worry was overpowering and you didn't want to have to risk waiting for the bus. You practically legged it all the way there, the urge and need to find Jungkook was top priority.

Every limb you had to push into action, stiffness and ache claiming each part of your body from being Jungkook's corpse out from the dirt and lugging him to the morgue. You felt wooden and extremely tired and you probably had massive dark bags under your eyes.

"I don't think I've seen you express so much emotion at once. I usually don't see much on your face at all. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were worried about him," Suga snickered, whiskers twitching with his amusement as he ran along with you.

You glared down at him. "Yeah, and I don't usually have stalkers," you rebutted. Suga ignored your comment. "I'm not worried about him. I'm worried that someone will see him. He's meant to be dead!"

"Keep telling yourself that, kitten."

"Did you actually just call me that? That's rich coming from you," you said shooting him a strange look.

Upon finally arriving to the street where Smeraldo belonged you lessened your pace, breath heavy from running, muscles and limbs screaming at you, punishing you with pins and needles.

The streets were bathed in a dimmed cloudy light from the sky, everything looking as regular as it could be. Yet as you paced along, you couldn't help but feel as though everything was different as if you had opened a new world to yourself, one with many possibilities. One where there was magic.

Or maybe its because this time, you weren't walking alone, you had a companion with you even if that companion wasn't human.

You saw a couple sat on a wall giggling quietly to themselves, a boy at the bus stop who looked much too young to be on his own yet the look on his face said he didn't seem to care. A guy on a pushbike rode by you at a speed that had Suga brushing into your ankles in an attempt to get out of his path.

You also happened to catch the gaze of a man fully clad in black across the street, the black fedora the most noticeable detail about him. You thought nothing of it, making your way into the flower shop, the sweet sound of the doorbell chiming in your ears.
