Thorn Black

"Get out." My mother said, before leaning across me and swinging my car door open.

When my muggle parents found out that I had been accepted into a school for wizards, let's just say, they weren't exactly excited.

I'm pretty sure they were thankful they could get rid of me, but disgusted that I was a witch. I am still in a shock myself to be honest.

I slammed the car door and put the middle finger up to her, making her honk the horn loudly. I looked around, and saw everybody's eyes were glued on us.

She had agreed to drop me off at Kings Cross Station, aslong as I promised to never write to her ever again. My father one the other hand, hadn't spoke one word to me since the letter came, and instead communicated with me through violence.

Starting a new school would be tough I am sure, but having bruises all over you wouldn't make things any easier.

I weaved in and out of the crowds, who were lining up to enter the train. I had no idea what to do, as I had been told to go to platform 93/4. I was a very lazy person if I must say, and being early or on time to things wasn't a thing I did.

I was determined to not miss the train to my new school, and at least try to make a good impression.

I spotted a group of people with trolleys which was unusual.
"Exuse me miss?" I said, tapping the ginger lady on the back of the shoulder.

"Can I help you love?" She smiled sweetly.

"Do you know where platform 9 3/4 is? I can't seem to find it?" I asked apprehensively.

"Ahhh! Ofcourse deary. Have you never done it before?"

"No, erm it's my first year." I looked around at her children. There were two boys who looked older than me, and a younger girl and boy who looked about my age.

"You don't look like a first year." The younger boy butted in. He had bright, ginger hair, and had his mouth full of god knows what.

"I'm not. I'm moving from a different school I think."

"You think?" He replied confused.

"Both my parents have no idea about this type of stuff."

"Ohh! Muggle born ." The lady said smiling.

"Yes!" I said nodding my head, even though I had no idea what the hell a muggle born was.

I watched as the boys who looked like twins ran at the brick wall and all of a sudden vanished. What the hell just happened? The lady must have acknowledged my confused facial expression, as she squeezed my hand and gave me the instructions.

I did as she said as ran straight at the wall, scared I was going to make a fool of myself.

I shut my eyes tightly, and tensed my body, but to my surprise, it worked. I opened my eyes to see what looked like Kings Cross, but was clearly not.

There were parents saying there goodbyes, and children my age and older holding wands and all sorts of pets.

I gasped at the shocking sight. How did I never know this world even existed? I looked around and spotted the ginger boy, and walked over to him.

"Do you think you could maybe help me? I have no idea what I'm supposed to do." I asked.

"Sure. Just follow me, and you can come and sit with me and my freinds." He said, smiling.

"Thankyou. I'm Thorn by the way."

"Ron."

I followed him towards the train and boarded it  with him. He took me down the main isle, and examined all of the carriages, clearly looking for his freinds.

As we walked past all of the carriages, I couldnt help but notice that I was getting many stares. Especially from a certain group of boys. One had platinum blonde hair, and was smirking and whispering to his friends as I walked past.

"Ron." I called. "I'll come find you in a second."
I said backing away. I walked back to where the group of boys were staring, and opened the door to their carriage.

"If you have a problem or something you would like to say then spit it out, because for some reason none of you could keep your fucking eyes off of me. And Incase you didn't know, it's not polite to stare." I snapped, leaning against the side of the door.

They all sat there speechless, apart from the blonde boy who was uncontrollably smirking. He stood up slowly, and walking towards me.

"I haven't seen you before. New?" He said casually.

"Yes, I'm a fourth year, but moved from a different school. Is that okay with you?" I smiled sarcastically, causing him to frown.

"I hope you know that I am one of the most talented boys in our year, and wouldn't speak to me like that. Keep your attitude to yourself..." he stopped.

"Thorn." I finished for him. "And I'll have you know that I'll 'share' my attitude with whoever the fuck I want..."

"Malfoy. Draco Malfoy." He looked me up and down and sat back down.

Pathetic.
