Chapter One

Scarlett

7:30 pm?!? Already?!? Oh God I'm late, I'm soo late! Audrey will kill me, being late on her birthday party isn't nice, but today has not been a good day...

I'm running through my apartment trying to get everything I need, the fastest I can. Okay, okay, I think I have everything, let's go. I start getting down the stairs...the door! You didn't close the God damn door, good job Scarlett...okay, up the stairs again.

Finally out of my apartment complex, I start going to Lisa's house, so I can get to Audrey's birthday party. Lisa and I have been planning this party for a month, it's going to be evertyhing Audrey wants, her close friends are going to be there, there's going to be music, kareoke, and food, specially her favourite cupcakes...oh wait...the cupcakes, I forgot abou the cupcakes!

Damn it Scarlett, that was the only thing you had to do, bring the cupcakes.

And I'm going back now...great could this day get any better?!?!

As I said that rain starts pouring, and it wasn't that little soft rain, it was heavy! Great!

Okay I just need to go back, go to Brownie's and get Audrey's party. It's already 7:45pm, the party is at 8, so I still have time, Brownie's is right around the corner, I can do this, I can go there, buy the cupcakes and go to Lisa's house, I can do that!

Oh God, I have to do it in time, Audrey will freak out if I'm not there. 

Finally I'm at the Brownie's, thankfully no one is in the line, so I go straight to the counter.

"Hey Joey, you still have your amazing cupcakes, right?"

Joey is an old man who opened this coffee shop with his wife Evelyn. They are amazing people and their food is the best! I come here often, it's close to my house and the food is good.

"Hello Scarlett, I still have some, maybe ten"

"I'll take them! Thanks, you are my savior"

After I paid for the cupcakes, I got out of the coffee shop and as I start going around the corner so I can get to Lisa's, I smashed into something...wait, not something, someone. A tall man, with dark hair is holding and looking at me  with the most beautiful blue eyes I have ever seen.

"Are you okay?" Ohh and what a voice he has.

"Uhmm...uhmmm..." Speak Scarlett, speak!

"...uhmm...y-yes, yes I'm fine, thanks. You?" I asked him.

"I was better if you looked where you were going"

And his personality sucks, of course...

"Excuse me?!?! I was looking, you were the one who clearly wasn't looking"

How dare he say that it was my fault?!?! It was his!!

"No you were not, if you were you wouldnt have smashed into me."

"I was looking, you were the one who wasn't"

I was looking...wasn't I?!? Yes you were Scarlett!

"Nope, you weren't, look it's fine just apoligize and we'll move on."

Apologize?? It was your fault buddy.

"It was your fault, you're the one who should apoligize!"

"Again, it was you fault, not mine"

"It wasn't my fault" 7:55pm great I'm going to be late "Look I don't have time for this, I have to go."

"I have to go too, I just want you to apoligize and we're go to go."

Is he serious?!? What an idiot!

"I don't have time for this and I'm not apoligizing for something that it wasn't my fault."

I start moving so I can get to Lisa's when he blocks my way.

"Just apoligize"

"No! Now get out of my way before I scream"

His face turns white the minute I say that. Guess he's scared now. Gotcha!

"That's what I thought, bye!"

I moved around him and finally start going to Lisa's when I hear a voice.

"See you, cupcake!"

Ughh...what an idiot, a very handsome idiot, but nevertheless, an idiot!
