The Breakup

Week 1

Ryder, Dark Brown Hair just longer than his ears, typically wearing sweatshirts/jackets with jeans.

Benji, Curly Blonde hair, length to the top of his ears. Typically wearing shorts and the same jacket he wore when he met Ryder. 

A courtyard big enough for the school itself, Ryder starts walking towards Benji. Not knowing the future. 

Benji looks into Ryder's eyes and they just look at each other for a bit, not knowing the pain, happiness, and destruction about to be unleashed by each other. "Sorry, do you need anything? Or do I know you" Benji says? "Uhh, no, I just wanted to say that's a really cool jacket and I really like it... like.. a lot," Ryder says back. All Benji can say is "Well, It's not mine, and I would give it to you but it's I don't have anything on under it.. sorry little dude" It's fine, Ryder says before offering to walk Benji to his next class and figure out they have the same Spanish class together, without another thought they start walking to class, they decide not to sit next to each other. Class is over, and Ryder hugs Benji and tells him to have a nice day. At home, a few hours later. Ryder gets a notification on his phone saying "Hi, remember me?", he thinks about it for a few minutes: Open's his phone and clicks on the notification, he has trouble remembering so looks at the profile, "It's Benji!", "I wonder how he found me!" Ryder says, "Hey! How are you?". Text bubbles pop up "I'm good, I can't believe you didn't know we were in the same class," Benji says back, after a few minutes, Ryder replies with "Hah, I know I just don't look around too much. Life is kinda magical how it puts people together I guess". They talk a little more, but not enough "You know, I think your pretty cute Benji says to Ryder." Ryder responds with a quick "I guess, I don't think so, but hearing it from someone else helps." They decide to go to sleep "I'll see you around some time tomorrow cutie," Benji says "Alright, I'll look for you sometime, sleep well".

The next day, they find each other at lunch once again, just where they met the other day. They don't talk much, but they do give each other cute looks and look at each other for parts of the day. They don't have a class so they just wave to each other before they go home. Later that night they are talking to each other, "I'm recently gay, I just got out of a relationship with a girl that didn't like me for me, and hurt me really bad, so I have trust issues" Ryder says to Benji who responds with "I get it, I just got out of a relationship that was on and off for a year and a half, I thought I really loved him but he just wasn't the one for me I guess. We both just have too much stuff that keeps us apart and not enough to stay together" A few minutes go by, as they both just talk about their past and relationships "Do you think you want to give us a shot?" Benji says, it made Ryder feel a little bit uncomfortable and confused him. Ryder couldn't stop thinking about how they just met, but then again, Benji seemed to be super sweet, like he cared for  Ryder a lot before they even knew each other. Ryder decides to reply with "I guess, like officially together?". "Yup, you and I can be together until the end!" Benji says. They barely knew each other, and all they knew was about the past bad relationships they had each been in. Ryder was nervous because of that, but he felt like he could still give it a chance, knowing there would be something wrong Ryder always kept his guard up, waiting.

The next day Ryder and Benji meet up together at school, they sit together in the morning for breakfast, sit together at lunch, and then meet back up before they leave to go home. They start learning each other's schedules and trying to understand new things about each other. Later in the day, they walk each other to class for Spanish, Ryder holding Benji's hand trying to drag him through the hallways as Benji is just walking like everyone else.
