Part 10: Possible Danger

"Who's Andrew Jacobs?"

Ash did a big sigh. "I knew you wouldn't forget that."

"Before I moved to Florida for college I had a girlfriend. She was in my sisters class. My sister told me she was bad news but I didn't listen. Her brother was involved in a gang. She introduced me to her brother and we hit it off. We became friends and he introduced me to his other friends which was also part of the gang."

I nodded to let him know I was listening. "I ditched the girl and became close with all the boys until I found out about the gang. They said that I could come to meetings and everything but they just wouldn't initiate me into the gang so I was still free and wouldn't be in danger. I went to the first meeting and the gang leader stepped out. It was my cousins. It turned out that five of my cousins were also in the gang. Andrew Jacobs is the now gang leader. Since I'm friends and family to them they have my back whenever I need them. They are still my bestfriends and cousins."

"Wow I can't believe you were in a gang." I said shocked at how his knew him.

"I never was in it I was just close with all them."

"So you aren't in any type of danger at all?"

"Nope. Neither are people I'm with." Is that somewhat hinting to him wanting to be with me. It was that moment I thought that sentence, that I realized I may have a crush on my roommate.

"Good. I didn't want to move out." Ash let out a soft chuckle.

"You're cute."

"What did you just say?" Ash asked.

"Oh god. Did I just say that out loud?"

"Yes, yes you did." Ash chuckled and I face palmed myself. Before he could say anything else there was a knock on the door. Ash opened the door to reveal Kayley.

"I swear I'm going to murder my roommate. It's always a different guy and she goes at it right in the bed beside me. Why couldn't I have gotten a hot boy to live with like you?" Kayley sighs and plops down on my bed.

"Hot?" Ash asks.

"You know you are so shut up." Kayley remarks.

"Oh I do know."

"You have such a big ego." I say and chuckle at ash.

"Could I stay here tonight to get some sleep? I'll sleep on the floor if I have to." Kayley asks.

"You can stay. Sleep in my bed I'll make ash share his."

"Thank you, thank you bestie." Kayley claps.

"Your welcome."

*ring ring ring*

Luke: Hey sis. What's up
Nicole: Not much bro. Just talking to kayley and ash. What about you?
Luke: Just sitting here. There's a party tonight. Y'all want to go?"
Nicole: I'm just going to stay home tonight. Ash and Kayley might go. Hang on and I'll ask them.

"Do y'all want to go to a party with Luke tonight? I'm just going to stay here."

"I'll go." Kayley replied.

"I'm going to stay here. I don't feel like going." Ash replied.

Nicole: Kayley wants to go. Me and ash are staying in.
Luke: That's fine. I'll pick Kayley up at 5 from your place. Bye sis.
Nicole: Bye brooo.

"Do you have something I can wear? I don't feel like walking back in to see my roommate naked with her latest partner."

"Sure. Just look in my closet and find something."
